Terry and I just returned home after a wonderful trip to the fraternity reunion this past weekend.
I had all these guys telling me how gorgeous I am, telling Terry how lucky he is... and I enjoyed it completely!! Yes, indeed!!! :dance:

It was so nice to be back where we fell in love. That love and joy was just bubbling over!! Perfect moments sitting on a bench, alone in the beautiful quad, under a magnificent shade tree, reliving our loving memories, strolling thru campus hand-in-hand, kissing and pausing at the steps where he first read three pages worth of touching ways that he would love me throughout our lives... Bliss!! (And, then there was all that other time ALONE.... :heart: )

Life is so good!! I am so appreciating the fact that Terry and I had not had any vacation time for just the two of us in more than 8 years - THEN, I decided to fully claim our trip to Italy next year for just the two of us (20 year anniversary) - no daughters tagging along.

After I made that decision and began to share it with others, suddenly opportunities for the two of us to travel together began to appear!

In the past month we had TWO weekends away together for just the two of us!! :clap: :clap: Woo-hoo - I rock!!!

Alex, love, you have been my inspiration!! Thank you - thank you!!

Just as I was clicking to respond to this, my sweet hubby walked up behind me singing "You are the sunshine of my life!" :love: Oh, I love him! :love: :heart: Next year, while we are in Italy celebrating our 20th anniversary we are going to renew our vows.

As we all know: The better it gets, the better it gets!!

I love to have other loving couples to appreciate. Our weekend in Boston was wonderful for that. There was Esther and Jerry - who are such a fun, loving couple and it is an amazing vibe raiser to see the two of them interact... and there was Alex and Pete who so deeply care for each other and have tons of fun together, while lovingly nurturing their two beautiful daughters... and Terry and I got together with an old friend we knew thru the fraternity (we knew him as alumni - he is more than 20 years older than us) and his wife (who we had never met) - wow, wow, wow - we were appreciating their beautiful interaction and relationship! Love sparkled in their eyes every time they looked at one another, and they spoke in glowingly loving terms, to and about, one another. He had been married before to a beautiful young woman who transitioned via breast cancer... he had been introduced to that wife thru her best friend, and after she croaked the same friend introduced him to his current wife. Our friend and his current wife, both spoke lovingly of his first wife and the ways they honored her spirit. Beautiful stuff!!!

After this past weekend, where we luxuriated in the warm waters of our love, our VE is blossoming in surprising and exciting ways! Lots of things that we had been "what if"ing are screaming out "Here I am!!!" More wonderful adventures together!!
