View Full Version : Chief Joseph - Ask, and then go about your merry business

You live in a Universe of vast abundance and well-being. Everything you could possibly imagine is literally at your fingertips. It is as easy to manifest a million dollars as it is to manifest a penny.

Your birthright, as children of the Universe, as the powerful creators you all are, is abundance, well-being, joy–all the good things you could ever possibly imagine in your life.

Now let us ask you a question: Do you believe, in your heart of hearts, what we’ve just said?

Or do you perhaps want to say something like this: "Well, Joseph, that all sounds fine. And I can see it happens some of the time for some of the people, and even for me on rare occasions. But I don’t see all that as a common experience, at least not in my life."

Or something like that–is that the way your inner dialogue might go when we say you can have it all–all your dreams?

There you have obstacle number one: your belief in scarcity is stronger than your belief in abundance.

And now let’s discuss obstacle number two.

You ask the Universe–the Great Spirit, God, Goddess–whatever name you prefer for Source Energy. You ask for something specific. Let’s use a common example. You want to manifest your perfect lover.

So you sit down and think about the wonderful qualities you want in this perfect lover. You might even write a list. Then you put your desire out to the Universe–you pray, you ask, you present your wishes in whatever way feels comfortable to you.

That SHOULD be the end of it. You’ve done all you need to do. You’ve gotten clear on what you want and you’ve asked for it.

The Universe responds instantly. It begins orchestrating all the details, aligning all the energies needed to bring you your perfect lover. It can find a thousand different ways to bring her or him to you.

All you have to do is stay out of the way. But often you don’t.

You start wondering why s/he hasn’t shown up yet. You start wondering if s/he’ll ever show up. You start looking at the troubled relationships among your friends, and you wonder if that will happen to you too. You start wondering if you’re worthy of this perfect lover, if you deserve to be that happy.

And on and on–you get the idea.

But all you really have to do, once you’ve asked, is to go about your merry business. Look for the positives in your life, in yourself, in your friends, in the world around you. You don’t even have to give your perfect lover another thought. All you have to do KNOW s/he is on the way. All you have to do is seek joy in every aspect of your life–big joys and little joys.

The more joyful you are, the more quickly and easily you will manifest your lover, or anything else you want, for that matter.

It really is that simple. You ask. The Universe answers. Then go play and have fun. Your perfect lover is on the way. It cannot be otherwise for, as it’s been said in your bibles and in many other formats, "Ask and you shall receive."

That’s it! All you have to do is ask. Then go seek your joy, and all you wish for WILL manifest.

Manifesting is about the simplest, easiest thing you’ll ever do once you believe "Ask and you shall receive."

Since 1992, John Cali has been communicating with a non-physical entity called Joseph. In one of his many physical lifetimes, this spirit was incarnated as the legendary Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe in what is now the state of Oregon in the northwestern USA. These messages are a blend of information from Joseph, other spirits in the "Joseph group," and John.

John can be reached by email here or through their website (http://www.greatwesternpublishing.org).

My belief in my personal experience and observation is stronger than my belief in what people and books tell me, that's all.

Since we are creators at some point there comes a time when we have to take the leap of faith/ adventure with an open mind. Else we would be locked in the beliefs we already hold because they would keep unfolding over and over as our reality.

It's a nice idea, though. And as it makes us all happier, why would we argue with that?
Here's to beautiful thoughts!

Leah, to me the very fact that it makes me happier is the indicator that there's truth in it. Its life giving, Life supports it, that's one heck of a convincing argument per me.

I would dearly love to hear from someone who's actually 'got their stuff' as a result of it.
I got my stuff Leah... honest... from working LOA. I wrote on this forum before about my finances and don't want to go into details now, but in a nutshell... I think I now qualify as "rich" when I used to be on welfare. Not like Warren Buffett but it sure feels rich to me - over $350K last year.

I am now married to my life-partner/soulmate. Connected with him 10 years ago. Before that I was a single, divorced, mother of two kids... no boyfriend for years. Our relationship is wonderful and flowing and harmonious... even after being together for 10 years. I love him dearly and foresee spending the rest of my life with him. I foresee getting richer and richer too. Once you're used to the feeling of abundance the money just keeps coming in.

How did I do it? Through making the best of what I had at the time. By looking for evidence of what I liked and what I wanted and focusing on that. By appreciating every little thing I could find that was right about my life. The blue sky, my relatively healthy body, money to pay my bills, my beloved children, my comfy bed, my washing machine... anything!

When I look back over the past 15 years I can see the times when I was allowing and the times when I was not. There is a direct correlation between how much my life was improving (especially financially) and how much I was allowing - not wallowing in resistance.

I learned about LOA in the nineties and implemented some things in a half-assed manner... but it still worked in many ways. In 2005 I read "Ask and it is Given". That filled in the missing pieces for me and ever since then the money has grown and grown in my bank account.

There are two areas where I am not getting what I want and I can also easily spot the resistance I'm holding. One is the area of health and the other is the area of career. My health is actually good but not perfect (allergies and such). But I want perfection - energy, vitality, fully-thriving physical body. And my career? Well, I won't go into it... let's just say I've outgrown it and still feel stuck but I'm on the cusp of a transition - I can feel it.

Every time I've been stuck and not getting what I want I can also see the resistance I hold.
Yeah... life's a party now. It's like a big wad of clay that I mold. But I still hang onto some resistance out of habit and stubbornness... and that is AOK too.

NDR, you just don't know how much your words mean to me!

Thank you so much for telling us your story, for you are evidence and also reinforcement of all that I believe in now. I also feel extremely happy that you are living your desires, and creating more and more... and the more you create, the more you desire because we never get it done.

Your success is my success!!!  And by focusing on your example and loving it, I can also have what I desire... woo hoo!

So much love and appreciation for you!

New Dawn Rising thank you for tooting your own horn, it is so inspiring. You have a new fan.

I too have had enough manifestations to know beyond a shadow of doubt that these things work - Relationship with my family transformed, an abundance of time, receiving answers to my questions, ideas that fill me with passion, a stable sense of wellbeing, unexpected money and tons of everyday manifestations that delight me.

Yes, Chief Joseph and Abraham are related. I was so happy to share him with Sierra's "Atlantis" forum in the "Abraham" section when she started that website. It was wonderful to share John Cali and him with an Abraham forum. They so supplement each other and amplify the points. John Cali recently surveyed his newsletter recipients to see if they would like a longer message from CJ, but apparently the response was to keep it short and to the point.!

As you may have discovered, each weekly newsletter has a listing of related topics that are fun to read, also.
