Has anyone heard anything about the book The Shack? I received an email this morning from a woman who teaches LOA on the internet. I tried ordering it at the library however the librarian stated that the book was becoming so popular that there were 152 people ahead of me in line to read it...when I called up my local bookstore about it, they said that they had only one copy left:

"It has been a while since I have read a book that touched me on
a profound level. I just finished one yesterday that I think has
the power to touch us all on a that level.

It's called, "The Shack", by William P Young. It is a powerful
story about forgiveness and reconciliation.

My experience with it is my experience, so for you, check-out
more info at http://www.theshackbook.com.

I would say enjoy, but part of the power comes out of the
of the story, so I guess I will say, "experience" instead".

Hi,
I've been pulled out of lurkdom by your question!! Yay!

I read The Shack about three weeks ago and loved it. I think that it is an amazing example of how the principles we embrace so whole heartedly through Abraham are being embraced on a much larger scale. While the book is very "God" based and rooted somewhat in the Bible, I didn't find much that didn't align for me in terms of how I see the world based on Abraham's teachings. The only challenge I think I felt was around a sense of separteness from God -- not that we are God (Source) (as I've come to believe).

I found it a powerful book. I got mine at my Sam's Club and I think it might also be available at Wal Mart. It was $10 or so at Sam's. I'd love to know what other Abrahamers think about it.
