Any one a DR Who fan here? I love it.It's one of my favourite programmes ever ,at least ,since televison was invented.I watched the saturday episode twice in a row tonight. It was that good. But what came to mind whilst watching the second time around was, this is like our lives, our creating, and most of all recognising how trust in the Universe works.I knew what was going to happen by than, but still ,like we all do in films we've re watched many times,we feel the tension,is it going to turn out fine?,will they be saved? do they find each other ETC!!.We know they do , the film is as it is ,and I thought thats how we can feel about allowing our eschrow to come and blend with us.Imagine life is a movie ,seen many times. The story ,the action ,the love ,all is great ,so this time around ,we drop the tension, that nagging uncertainty, just enjoy the points we love so much ,knowing, absolutely knowing it is as we feel we want it to be,as clearly ,as certainly ,as blissfully as the end of the film we know is turning out.Without any doubt at all.The universe, our Glorious Non-Physical Staff bring it,synchronise it,Now that is something to play around with in these brilliant minds of ours.Just like Abe say many times ,our life is like going into a movie ,well ,maybe lets treat it like one.One we've seen and loved and KNOW the end(not really the end of course but you all get it?)
Is that good or is that good???????......Steve Who!

I'm a Doctor Who fan! Well, of the old series anyway... its so corny - ya gotta love it or hate it. And you always feel good at the end. Tom Baker is my favorite doctor. My husband and I rent the old ones via Netflix. But I haven't seen the new series yet. So I guess you like it? We'll have to check it out.
But I get your point - about how knowing the end of the movie helps you relax as things unfold. And if we could just see our lives like that - then we'd be much more downstream about everything. I posted an Abe quote awhile back that says exactly that. Here it it:
The ONLY thing that keeps you from having everything that you want is that you have an attitude of its absence that is more dominant than an attitude of its presence. So when you really want something and you know its gonna come… Here’s a good way of looking at it: Imagine going to a movie that you’ve either seen before or someone told you that it has a happy ending. And even though, in the middle, it’s not the way you want it to be – nobody’s getting what they’re wanting and the movie in the middle is in a terrible place… when you know the outcome then you can sit there in a calmer, more positively expectant attitude. And so what we want you to begin to try to feel is how your Inner Being feels about everything that you’re asking for, because your Inner Being knows the end of the movie. And your Inner Being knows it turned out really really good. And as you are feeling for how your Inner Being feels about it then even though it hasn’t turned out for you yet, now your attitude is downstream - expectant, rather than upstream - doubtful.

Now wasn't that amazing.?I spontaneously came out with something Abe had said.Man,I'm good!..Thanks New Dawn, that is a great one....And I'm enjoying holding to that ...
About Dr Who,the new series,(the original was finished in the early 90's I think) is completly different in that the scripts ,acting ,special effects are 100 years away from the old ones.It sort of took England by storm ..There must have been some huge asking for it to come about like that. There have beenj 2 doctors and I think another one is about to appear and there are rumours it might be a women...I'm really excitted.
Thanks again for the quote..,I'm printing that one out.....Steve

I'm a fan of the old and new Dr. Who! I'm loving how I hear more and more of "focus on what you want" from TV shows that I see. And the ones I used to like who don't say that, I'm not interested in watching them anymore! And the latest Dr. Who episodes have been really good - less cheesy than the old series!
New Dawn, I love the quote! I printed it out too as a reminder. I've even added "knowing my movie ends perfectly every time" as an affirmation/thought! Thanks for sharing it!
