THIS IS IT!!! I've been enjoying my trip on the Universe train immensely, and next stop on this train is "final" destination BLISS!!!!!!

Four months ago my brother gave me a DVD, it was the movie "The Secret". I cried throughout the entire movie! For 12 years long, before going to bed, I looked up at the stars at night, wondering what Life is, what we do here on this physical playground and why we are here. Watching that movie felt like finding the hidden puzzle pieces that I was missing. I felt complete!

I grew up with a science/philosophy called "Christan Rationalism". (I remember Alex started a thread once about other religions and spiritual methods. Weird I didn't think of adding this one...)
Good Christian Rationalism description from their website: "Christian Rationalism deals with Physical and Psychic Phenomena, Philosophical and Psychological issues, Reincarnation, Incorporeal Life, Space and the Universe, the Power of Thought, Evolution, Gods and Religions, Force and Matter, the Aura, Ethics, Family and Children, Why do we live ? What is God ? Who am I ? Where did I come from ? Where do I go to ? Why do we suffer ? How to be happy? What is mediumship? What is obsession ? What is the main problem of life ? What is courage ? and one of most important: What is psychic cleansing? "
It all sounds very Abe-ish. It helped my parents out a lot, but the crucial part of "taking control" and shift your consciousness to abundant levels is missing out.
It originated in Brazil a long time ago, and then spreaded out to other Portuguese speaking place. And that's how my parents, from the Cape Verde Islands and Portugal, got in touch with it.
It saved my mother's life when she was pregnant of me. She went mental and came close to the end. She then went to this place, a centre here in Holland, where the "physic cleansing" was practised,and it put her back on track. My mother eventually became a medium in the centre.

This is what I grew up with, and so when I watched the movie, it all made complete sense. I then immediately noticed the way Esther talked. It was exactly the way my mother and the other mediums talked in that centre. That's how I met Abraham.
The timing couldn't be any better! I used to work as an aircraft mechanic, and the project I worked on came to an end. I decided to "retire" and dived into the wonderful teachings of Abraham and many others. I'll never forget the voice of my agent, when I told her that I was retiring at the age of 26 haha!!!

When I look back at these 3 months I can see how I gradually moved up. I can see myself being upstream, while thinking I was going downstream. I've learned a lot, and I'm learning new things every day! My intention was to just sit back and enjoy Life, and wait for the money to flow in! I always dreamed of moving to Portugal. And I could see it happen.
I enjoyed it for 2,5 months, and then started to go slowly upstream. I was doing less good suddenly. I was looking more and more to the lack. I was noticing the resistance and so I came to the conclusion to just let go all thoughts and just be happy!

LIFE IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUN! And Abraham is not joking! Not so long ago, I woke up, and instead of immediately try to force it to happen, (like I was doing all that time) I just let go. I stepped into the shower and just felt great!
NOT EVEN 30 MINUTES LATER! I received a phonecall from an agent I had met 5 months ago at work. I MANIFESTED A JOB!!! SUPERB WAGE!!! AND BEST PART!!!: IT'S IN F%#@$& SEVILLE, SPAIN!!! HAHAHAHA!!! Just 2 hours away from Faro, Portugal!
I did jacksh#te to make this happen!!! :spin: IT'S ALL COMING TO ME NOW!!!

I AM EXCITED!!! The best part is: the resistance I just mentioned that still is blocking my wealth, is coming from my environment. I know I shouldn't let it. The truth is, it's just too difficult for me to block others out completely. And so this is the best option the Universe could give me! I'll be in Seville all alone, in my own appartment, enjoying my own life. I can do whatever I want! And this means one thing: MORE MORE MORE MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, that was a pretty eye opening story! Thank you for sharing! The moment you just stopped trying to force being happy (did I get that right) and started not caring about it, is that when you felt great?

When you said you could feel even better if not for your environment, I have felt like that recently too, but I think that from my own experience looking at it like that just enhanced the things I was hating about that environment and made things worse! So, I guess one has to CHOOSE to feel GOOD even when we are feeling like if this or that wasn't a part of my life then I could be happy. I guess it felt easier to blame others then look inside and say "what am I doing wrong, why can't I be happy around people who aren't?"

I am learning though and I will very soon know how to be happy in all situations. I have a great mentor too, Alex my boyfriend.

Basically I think we forget that it is as simple as just stopping yourself from your own created poop hole, and saying, "I want to feel good, there is nothing more important that I do." And once you declare that and you say that is the way it is going to be then you will feel free from your own yolks of life, just like Jesus said. Amen to that :heart:

The moment you just stopped trying to force being happy (did I get that right) and started not caring about it, is that when you felt great?

Exactly! For me it was a subtle shift! I woke up everyday, thinking: "Today I'm going to be happy". And it worked, but after awhile it felt different. I guess I did it so good, that I didn't notice the happy smile sticker that I had on my face all that time.
When I asked myself: "Äm I really happy". The answer inside me exposed the resistance that I was ignoring.
By letting go, and trying less, I managed to go to bed with a smile, and wake up with a smile, automatically!!! That's the place where you want to find yourself in!

About my environment, I agree. It's all me, it's all up to me. I choose how I feel. And I've done it too. I can shut off the entire planet if I want.
But in my case, the huge contrast was there non-stop. And the contrast changed a lot too.
I enjoyed it at first. "BRING ON THE CHALLENGES AND ADVENTURES"!

I think consistancy is key in this case. And that's what this new experience will bring me!

Before the BILLIONS reach this moment called NOW, I am taking care of a few things first.
I am waking up. I am getting out of the cage first!!
I could be a worldcup winning football player, have 999 billion euros on my bankaccount, own a nice cabin on the moon, have 5 supermodels as wives (it's legal on the moon), hire bill gates to do my dishes and oprah to wash my socks... I'd still be in a cage. A gigantic cage, but still a cage.
No matter what the dream or desire is, there's always going to be a far more precious and important bit than the achievement of that dream. That thing is my breath, my heart.
I have the ability to be alive and bullshit around here and hate, love, be sad and be happy.

"Looking back"... Since day one I went hardcore (meaning quitting my job to study these laws and "live my life full-time."), I always went up and down the damn scale. Things didn't change and I think the most important factor that brought me where I stand now, was to really believe that I always created 100% of my reality. I created the shit bits and I created the good parts. It was me! It placed me right in the control seat and that's where I want to be.

Now I started living life from a firmer and clearer perspective (It's all about perspectives for me now).
First I was studying the laws full time, now I am LIVING them full time! And it feels fantastic to see a theory make sense.
I used to read and hear certain things and go: "Yeah, that's so true, beautiful stuff etc, etc"... and then move on to the next thing.
Making new discoveries is great. Leaving the theory behind, to apply the new discovery to your perspective is mindblasting and even better!
Simple example of something that most people don't give a flying fuck about because of it's unimportance: we all think and see the sun go down and disappear behind the horizon and so from our perspective it appears as if the sun moves. Yet... we KNOW that the earth's rotation is causing it. Now... when you stop and really think about it, and get a live realization and feeling that you're standing on a giant rotating rock in a space... Everytime I do this it's a massive powerful feeling of some sort of oneness with the earth. I am earth!
And so this is exactly what I did with a lot of discoveries.
FEELING THE MOMENT! Everytime I think of time I feel that I am in that same EVERLASTING moment, just different snapshot.
FEELING THE ONENESS! From the quantum physics point of view really get the sensation that everything around me is connected to me. My enemy's hate and anger, my own love and peace, the "empty" space between us, appearing empty. It's one ocean, just different waves.
FEELING MY BREATH! The bridge between me and my higher self. Making all this possible!
FEELING MY HEART! Knowing that every single bit of information is accessible for me, whenever I need it. The best library you can go to! The best teacher you can have!

Do people hang out on Abetalk, get fabulously wealthy and then just go on their merry way

and forget the rest of us?

It all starts when parents and society start polluting a kid's mind with things like "school is important, you need to study hard to become successful, etc, etc". I bet we all cried our hearts out when the first day of school arrived.
I never understood the whole idea of school, and jobs.
As a kid I used to pick up spiders outside our house and put them near the window inside my room. I was fascinated by the webs they made.
I had great fun catching mosquitos in the summer and throwing them into the web (turning them into gigantic fat spiders and keeping my mother out from my room successfully hehe). I enjoyed watching them spinning their webs.
What I noticed after a while, was that the young ones that would come out of the eggs would immediately move out and go all over the place and start making their own tiny webs (read once that the young ones move out because of the danger of become momma's snack).
This left me with the question: How the fuck do they know how to make a web so neat?????? I didn't see a web building school or university they went to.

School, a degree or like with me now winning this MAJOR art award..these are just tools for this old world to show / allow the "others" to know that we have something of value to share with them... and soo for them to share $ etc back with us..

I actually enjoyed school most of the time...now I can not tolerate going back for more graduate classes..I looked into it and the "busy work" classes that I would have to take just felt way tooo unjoyful for me...and yet I enjoyed a lot of the classes that I have already taken and I continue to educate myself (on this forum sometimes even hahahaah :-))..the M.E. stuff may help me to "down load" a lot of the graduate stuff ....

I really admire spiders and birds for how they live.

Last spring a great tit ended up on my balcony.
All the young ones flew out of the nest, which was inside a gap between my house and the next. She flew out probably a bit too early since her wings weren't full developed yet and ended up on my balcony. After watching her struggling to fly up and noticing that her mommy and daddy were too busy taking care of the others who ended up in a tree and didn't pay attention to her call of help. I decided to take care of it. I fed it tiny bits of seeds, nuts and canary food. It didn't take long for her to see me as daddy. At night when I was watching tv or reading a book, she would fly to me and find a warm spot to sleep. I was wearing a hoody with belly pocket. And watching her crawl inside the pocket to sleep will be one of the most touching moments ever for me. For 3 days I gave her my full attention. On day 4, I left her 2 hours alone to go to the supermarket. When I got back I found her dead. I guess I slowed her great tit vibration down to human level and that meant the end for her. The experience I'll never forget tho.

That's the advantage animals (and our ancestors) have. They open their eyes and source is right there to lead them through life.
