I think this is a good idea.....it is disappointing to read a high vibe thread and then come crashing down when the negative emotions start running high....(this happened in the recent Oprah thread and just took the wind out of my sails.)

I agree with Goddess on this one.

While it is good to let the steam out and adjust the valves again, I agree with RnR Goddess too.
See, when somebody needs just a little wind in the sails, I'd love to help them, only it's got a totally different...better vibe..when the thread is not separated from other threads. We stay focused on solutions and on feeling good, and in environment like that I feel it's much easier to beat the drum of what you like instead, and remind yourself that ''Life is meant to be fun''.
This is a free forum, you can write just about anything that makes you feel better, and in the process of doing so, you will climb the EGS automatically.

Me, I like a buffet with ALL of it, because I want to practice vibing high NO MATTER THE CONDITIONS.

I felt inspired to back this one up.
I'm seeing a section called Upstream to which would-be Rescuers can tune in and offer support. NOT a place to encourage Axl Roses, but a safe place to express genuine distress and ask for help.
I think it would be very powerful for our online community.
love as before

In light of recent events, I am definitely for this!!

My inner being and I are strongly in agreement and disagreement with this idea.
So agreement wise I feel this way:
Firstly, as AbeTalk gets bigger there will inevitably be people that are somewhere other than joy on the emotional scale.
Secondly, it makes it very easy for people to know where they want to go. Some days I feel like playing with the heavy ones. Some days I feel like playing with the light ones. I know my SELF and my joy well enough that I can joyfully benefit from either.
Thirdly, it clearly gives a "you are welcome here" feel to those who are not absolutely happy in this moment. And usually this is guised in a "I have a few questions about all this" scenario, meaning "my life is falling apart and I'm desperate for something, anything".
Fourthly, complainers that people are "too happy to help" can be scolded... I mean told... there is a place clearly designated for their oozing negativity.
On the disagreement size:
A) Trying to control circumstances in order to avoid perceived "negativity of others" in order to actually avoid dealing with our own emotional responses and choices to our own perceptions, projections, and created reality... will in fact never work.
B) If you are loosing your vibe because of "circumstances" or things YOU are attracting (not running into), it's something YOU should be dealing with and seriously looking at, rather than trying to control things away.
C) There's no such thing as contagious low vibration, at least not from where I stand.
D) You're not free or the dominant vibration if you have to run or hide.
On a personal note:
1) Flowery fluffy bunny hugs are not always what the person is asking for in order to receive the reflection they need to get themselves back on track.
2) If you believe, let's say for example someone like me, whom you've heard so much "negative" stuff about from your friends and friends of friends, is actually doing "harm" to others, you might want to check out a good book on the topic of "creating your OWN reality".
3) There are connected people like me that do bring benefit to "low vibers" in a way other than coddling. It's about SELF remember, not dependence. For example... I am tough. I am direct. I am potentially aggressive, insinuating, and down right rude sometimes, but it ALL stems from my highly developed connection to Source, and I can FEEL who needs what and when. If you can't see the difference or the benefit, that's your problem. Trying to "protect" the "weak ones" only keeps them weak, and you superior.
On a final note:
Life is good isn't it?

I would definitely skip over any autobiographies and masturbatory blogs about being facially-challenged. Once bitten!
Aaawwwww - I miss Axl. He was just good fun. :drum: That kid could beat a drum like nobody's business. It's a shame he's beating off somewhere else now.

hey I think it could be a good idea to have a category just to release emotions lower on the scale, then again, we can all do that in a word document or peace of paper, right? XD but it could be interesting to read for us when we are feeling that way too and may even be liberating for us!! AN Emotion Dumpster :porc: sumth like:
ramble on whatever feels so crappy to you that makes you wanna SCREAAMM!!! and punch ppl
such as:
''LALALA I hate this, I fucking hate that, lalalalla, life is horrible yata yata it's soo unfaairr!! yata yata yata I want to die, blah blah blah blah'''
this kinda stuff would be even hilarious and could potentially bring a lot of joy to ppl like Evil Wilcox.... I can laugh a lot when I'm feeling like crap too... XD yeah black humor :o
it's an idea... it does get the energy flowing sometimes... but it can be dangerous, it's all up to you guys... I personally think it's a very very interesting exercise to watch how our minds go crazy wild in a stupid way, that when we see it from a broader perspective, we realise how crazy and pointless it was, yet, it's a part of who we are, which we ought to embrace, like the whole humanity and world. what's good about it is that it could give is all an environment where we can freely puke our emotions away and there will be nothing but love and understaing like the one Sourcey has for us. It is a way of expansion. :rabbit: :drum:
11:11... whatd'ya think? :drum:

I have been "resisting" this thread XD but finally read through it and an idea came to me...
How about a place called RANTS... where people can go and vent, just write whatever they're feeling, aimed at someone or in general... and that alone can be a vibration raiser.
This wouldn't be a place to go and read - unless you really want to :S - but rather to write when needed and without expecting answers or help, just the person and their post alone, pouring it all out.
I never do this but if anyone needs it and it helps them, then... whatever works!
Well, those are my two cents - and only because I suddenly felt inspired to add them.
