So I posted about Religious Science in another thread, but how I found *that* was through a discussion of Ernest Holmes (who wrote "Science of Mind" in 1928). Anyway, his teachings are all about The Law of Attraction (yes that exact wording), how to utilized it in our minds and demonstrate the lives we want. Coincidentally I started reading Louis Hay's books at the same time, having no idea that she started her spiritual path by attending a service at a church of Religious Science (which makes sense because she uses the same terminology, ie "treatment" and "demonstrate"). Anyway, I also feel confident that Ernest Holmes must have been a student of Hermetic Philosophy or at least familiar with it (re: "The Kybalion" written in 1908) and then put those teachings in more layman terms. His writings are incredibly and have made things so much clearer for me, especially Abraham-Hicks books(which are simplistic on the surface but their teachings really go much, much deeper they can seem to be on the surface).
Oh well the POINT of my posting all of this may seem kind of silly, but I just realized yesterday how unusual it is that they have the same initials! (Ernest Holmes, Esther Hicks). I mean, really, the initials E.H. are pretty unusual just by themselves, and then to have two teachers of the same initials that are teaching these exact same principles is quite astounding. And since I believe/know that there are no coincidences in life, I just have to wonder if Abraham has ever revealed to Esther who the teachers are communicating through her (other than a group of about 100).
Thoughts?
