I have no idea how to allow. I do so well for weeks, then fall backwards and start doing step one again. I'm being appreciative, I'm envisioning what I want, I'm talking like it has already happened, but I cannot stop myself from feeling disappointed that what I want has not yet come. I've even had times where I have started to believe that there is no such thing as Law of Attraction.
I need help, I cannot seem to stay on the wagon for longer than two weeks at a time.

Well, you're focusing on the lack. And you'll keep getting the lack. For what you want to come, you have to feel good unconditionally. You can't rely on the physical things you want to feel good because they will never come that way. You can't keep checking if it's come. Because then you're noticing it not there, and you'll get more of that! You have to just trust the Universe knows what time is best. You can't make so much of the manifestation. It's not about the manifestation, it's about joy and the vision and sculpting of it that is the point! Use your imagination, enjoy the VISION! To hell with the manifestation! :tongue: When the physical manifestation doesn't matter, that's when it will effortlessly come into your experience. But as long as it matters and you keep checking and wondering where it is, you're not aligned with it and it's gonna take a long time. So just chill out. What you want will appear if you just chill out. It EXISTS. It's right under your nose. Stop wondering where it is. It's right there! :biggrin:

One definition of allowing is having faith. Meaning recognizing that you are One with Source/God/the Universe, and as there can be nothing outside of Source, and that all that Source is, you also are, so whatever it is that you are desiring, recognize that Source/God/Spirit is that, and if Source is that, then you must be, too...because ALL is Source, which means you, and all around you--all people, things, etc, are also pure Source substance. And when we really get that, it makes it easy as pie to let others do their thing without having the need to control (which is also another definition of allowing...or another layer to it). Just bask, find the good, and KNOW that whatever you want, ALL that you want, is ALREADY yours and YOU are already all of that.

Oh I forgot to say one more thing about the allow...it is the faith and then release....meaning recognize that all that you want already is because you are one with Source and Source is ALL there is, and then "release" your desire for the Universe/Source/Law to take care of. That is the true definition of "having no attachment" that so many religions talk about it....release it to the Universe, focus on all that feels good, and you better believe whatever it is you are wanting will be there in the most amazing way, it will blow your mind.

You don't have to "allow", like "allow" is an action that you take. Just don't resist, stop resisting. Abraham says it is our resistance which pushes away the things we want. When you stop resisting, the well-being will flow to you naturally.The grass doesn't strain when it grows, and neither will you strain in having what you need to enjoy your life. You are not here to suffer, you are here to have fun.
You sound frustrated more than anything. I would suggest relaxing. This is supposed to be fun and easy. We are here to enjoy the flowing of energy. When you are focused on the lack, you are cutting off the flow of well-being, the energy stops moving, and you feel bored, tired, and depressed. When the energy is flowing quickly, you are excited, passionate, happy.
What exactly are you wanting to manifest?

it is about that you come on a point where you know it will become truth.
you start to recognize the truth,
and once you're sure that it will come alive, and you don't bother any more.
And this feeling comes, with time, it comes, because when you know : ok how can I make myself feel a little better-going downstream takes you to this knowing.

What came to my mind is.... Your inner being will tell you when you are in step three mode and when you are not allowing what you want by the way you feel. You are a natural step 3-er, whatever you love to do, when you are basking, when you are playing, when you are feeling good its step 3. The only time you are not doing step 3 is when you are feeling negative emotion and thats the time to either
1)stop thinking that thought! You will be surprised as how easy it is to just find something else to focus on when you are thinking a thought that does not feel so good- just distract yourself. I just go - 'oops, i'm doing that thing again, I don't want to be thinking that, it doesnt feel good' and then I move on".
2) If you have a particularly persistent thought that you just can't shake that easily its best to talk it downstream ( I am a writer so i write it downstream) i.e. start from where you are- make a statement that expresses how you feel and them try to make statements that feel a little better that that, and a little better and a little better until you really do feel better and the resistance dissolves!
Don't worry, step 3ing is about actively monitoring the way you feel and continually turning your boat in the stream if you find yourself upstream. Be aware of how you are feeling and if you are thinking something that feels good- continue! if you're not, make a thought detour!
I feel that you are doing wonderfully and just a lil bit more effort will net you big results,

I want to allow my dream job, but right now, any full-time employment will do no matter how much I hate the job. The problem is that 'reality' is showing me that I have a very short amount of time to do so or I am out of my home because I have not gotten a job by my landlord's chosen date, plus I have zip money. I've tried telling it like I want it to be, but daily reminder notes from my landlord plus going to the store and not having enough for groceries, it makes it really hard sometimes to turn my thoughts. I have until Friday to find employment, or I'm on the streets.

There are a few things ive learned that might help you.
First off i have to remind myself everyday that bad thoughts create more bad thoughts. Remember Abe talks about the radio tuner and how you cant get from fear to joy? ive tested that and you cant. not only that, they are right about bad thoughts or negative thoughts attracting more and that is why they focus so much on the scale and looking for relief because when you do that, you feel the energy shift in you, then you get closer to the top, THEN you feel like you are invincible and that worry goes away you are talking about. Otherwise you stay stuck in this vicious cycle where the universe keeps giving you more of the same thoughts over and over again.
Secondly, the journeys we each go through are very individualized. i have learned that now. When people say try this process, try this one, they are talking about what works for them, but when we play it and it doesnt work for us we think theres something wrong with us. NO not at all! we just have our own tastes and you have to find the processes that work for you. You have to go up the scale in a way that works for you, that you enjoy with your own creativity.
These things are what I have learned and they have helped a lot! they will help you to allow and line up easier.

I would suggest finding a job to pay the rent and food. Perhaps you can find a living arrangement where you can pay less. For example, two rooms and two tenants. This way you can work less hours at this job you aren't too passionate about. Then in your free time you can align with your passion, investigate ways you can flow the dollars, and those circumstances will align for you. But as your main focus right now is this burden of survival, I think it will drain your energy ignoring the issue at hand, or acting like "oh, it will take care of itself."
Abraham was talking to a person that was a computer programmer who worked 40 hours a week. He went into computer programming because his parents said he wouldn't make money in music. But his passion was music, and he wanted to make his dollars from music. And Abraham asked him "how much time do you spend playing music each week?" And he said 12 hours. And Abraham said "So what do you do with the rest of the time?" Abraham went on to saying "Dropping your job, and rushing into your music business, will be a big shift in energy. We would much rather that you slowly transitioned from one to the other. So perhaps this week you will spend 20 hours playing and creating your music. And you will start playing for dollars a few hours this week. And next week you will find more opportunities. And before you know it, you won't have to work as a programmer any longer. And this gradual transition will be much more in alignment with you, than attempting a huge sudden shift."
I think right now, on the emotional guidance scale (http://theabeforum.com/forum2/3582.html), you are somewhere between Worry, Doubt, Overwhelment and Impatience towards your goal of "my dream job" because of this "time burden". Personally, if I was in your place I would be angry and punching holes in the wall right now, angry from disappointment that the universe hasn't manifested my desire, and that I'm in this pickle now. Anger gets the energy flowing quickly, which when released during sleep, seems to make magic happen for me the next morning.
What action would feel better for you right now? What are your options if you do not flow the dollars to pay the rent or to buy the food? When you are not working, what action will you take to align with your dream job? What are the details of your dream job?

improvement.
If you continue to talk about lack, you are in an infinite loop (programming lanugage lingo)
and you wil never break the cycle.
If you tell a new story, that feels better, you will break the cycle.

Think about this:
There is ONLY a Source of Well Being.......
That's it........only good is flowing to you at all times. So are you resisting or allowing.....it really is that simple.
Remember the examples regarding allowing:
--The canoe in the river
--The cork in the water
Some things to think about:
--Everything that's happening is OK
--What everybody else is doing is OK
--I benefit from everything
--Enjoy your NOW, the past can't be changed and the future can be pre paved
--Find anything that brings you joy and happiness no matter how small and stick to those feelings
--Find things to appreciate no matter how smal or irrelivant......the secret to life I say

Stop trying. Literally, just tell yourself that it is done, and find something to be joyful about. Trying to do step three stops you from doing step three, does that make sense? You naturally know how to allow, its when you forget that that you find yourself having problems, finding resistance, your manifestations not happening. Every time you feel yourself descending, just tell yourself "It is done!" then find something else to think about.
