View Full Version : Censorship is not in alignment with allowing.

Hello everyone.

I just want to vent about the strange and bizarre behavior of the mods over at the Abe Forum. Although they would deny it, they're obviously guilty of power tripping. It's as if they enjoy editing and censoring peoples post. If anyone post anything that makes them feel uncomfortable or challenges their belief system, they're quick to censor. If you ask me, it's not really in the spirit of Abraham and allowing, and is more in the spirit of trying to control external conditions and situations. I for one have a strong desire in my vibrational escrow for an Abe forum that truly understands the value of freedom of speech.

I can understand deleting hateful post that trash the good spirited nature of the forum, but often post are deleted simply because someone has a different point of view. It's like they're not skilled at remaining objective, and they're not open to debates that could actually bring a deeper understanding of what Abraham teaches. It reminds me of the little kid that gets mad when you disagree with them so they try to strike back rather than engaging in healthy respectful debate.

I absolutely agree and have had the same problems there before. The forum is not in alignment with abrahams teachings. I would say the majority of people who go there sense that something is not right.

People have a desire to say wateva they want, maybe that's why this free-flowing forum exists.....

That's exactly why we exist. Abetalk was summoned from the contrast of THAT OTHER FORUM. Just take a look at number one of our forum rules (http://abetalk.com/misc.php?do=showrules).

The tricky thing about freedom and free will is that we can disallow the disallower, judge the judger, push against those that push against, censor those who censor.

I used to read all the locked threads on the other forum.....and became indignant, frustrated. Until I realized I was choosing to read those threads. My choice. My thoughts. My vibe. That's where freedom is.....in the space between MY ears. My focus. What am I paying attention to?

There is wanted and unwanted in every particle of the Universe.

Freedom and free will are a tricky thing.

Editing, censoring, locking threads just may be an example of what we need to do with the stream of our own thoughts....maybe, maybe not....but it is a possibility, a choice on the buffet table of thought.

Get happy......whatever does not get you there, censor, edit, delete. That's your power. And theirs.

In the end, it's never about "them".....external circumstances....the power is within.

At least, this has been my own lessons as I wrestled with those damn little locks over there.....I can now read those locked threads with amusement. I've come along way baby.....and I love it. Power, freedom, joy.....within, within, within.

Use the experience to create what you do want......turn your attention to what you do want. Use the contrast. It's creative fuel.

This amazing leading edge forum was launched from the contrast there. I have learned a little more how to control my focus and my own vibe from the contrast there too......contrast serves us, serves our growth and evolution. Pushes and pulls us....it is all good.

Abe's teaching is about controlling our focus.
Everywhere.
Even in forums that bear their name.

Now, we don't have to do it (control our focus...get happy...feel good).....that's our freedom, our choice. But it is what they recommend.

Yeah but nobody is censoring them. I think there's another law that's being overlooked here and that's " for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." So yeah there's gonna be some pushing back. I'm sure even Esther and Jerry do their share of pushing back in certain situations. I've been using the internet for a very long time, and I've read some pretty intense exchanges, and I've never ever encountered such control freaks like that on any other forum.

So yeah it's my choice to ultimately decide how I want to feel, but I don't need others censoring me, or telling me how I should feel and that I should just get in the vortex. I'm like you get in your own damn vortex and get your nose outta my frekin pie! I give myself an A for being out of the vortex and an A for being inside it, but I'll decide for myself when to be in or out thank you very much!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

One thought that was helpful for me to get control of my own focus, was to remember that Jerry and Esther tried to create a forum....and then disbanded it. Their message was they realized that a forum did not match their intention...or something like that. Frankly, they are not about creating community...which is what forums are....they are about self-empowerment. So it is not surprising that the other forum is full of contrast....yet, I believe that can serve whoever chooses to allow it to.

P.S. It is not necessary for even one other person to understand the Laws of the Universe or the processes that we are offering here in order for you to have a wonderful, happy, productive Life Experience — for you are the attractor of your experience. Just you! Abraham-Hicks

Word up!

We have a right to talk about brackets on an abraham forum, because it feels good! :)

Warning, the following link may be unsuitable to be on topic to the Abraham teachings: http://breathingfire.com/nba/playoffs/2010/bracket2010.php
^^

By the way, nice responses, Flo. :)

Humor is always on topic!!! WWAD? Would Abraham laugh, I think so! Ok. On Topic! :facelol:

Who'd you pick to win the finals?

East:Cavs West: Lakers

Finals: Lakers>Cavs Lakers win.

Derek, I know you like the Heat, but I've heard 2 many good things about the Cavs.

BTW, I think I've gone really off topic from the original topic. WWAD? Well I think Abe would get back on topic, so be free everybody to get on topic to the original topic, because that's what I think Abe would do, and that's on topic!
