I meant to keep introducing myself... ok so here goes.

My name is Sandy, I am a health professional in the Fort Lauderdale area. I love the beach here, and the parks, snorkeling, watching the kite-boarders, browsing bookstores, meditating, and going to "hippie" chick things like drumming and reiki, and learning about 'alternative' and complementary health treatments. While I currently work in a traditional setting, (ICU and Recovery Room) eventually I'll probably be 'playing' in a more complementary area of wellness care, like acupuncture or energy work, or something like that. I love music of all kinds, from Bocelli to R&B to Rock, and of course all the 'gettin jiggy with it' :spin: :spin: energy around here at AbeTalk. Whatever raises your vibration, baby! And ... I listen to alot of HayHouseradio and read alot of books. :study:

What I'm most anticipating soon is going to Las Vegas for the Hay House I Can Do It Conference at the end of June, and then a short side trip to Sedona. (I've never been there!) Unfortunately, Jerry and Esther won't be presenting at this I Can Do It, but I did get to hear them at the ICDI in Orlando 2006. I'm accumulating an awful lot of Abe CD's and it is all good!

Anyway, here I am! Love you guys

Sandy

Anyone live near Gainesville? That's where me and Paula are about to move very soon :)

Thanks for the welcome Brightlovelight, Jen, and Alex! Hey Alex, in case you're not familiar with the geography yet ^^ here's a reference.

I'm in Ft Laud, down near Miami. Jen is about three hours north of me, and Gainesville is - whew! Long ways for me. :D But a great place to live, I hear! Very youthful town. Enjoy your journey.

Thanks RnRG! You're the one with the intoxicating energy ^^

I do feel that way about dolphins as well. I've been wanting to road trip down to the keys lately, because I can always count on seeing some dolphins there, and .. yeah, the boat drinks aren't too bad, either. XD

zOMG!! Your instructor was an 80 yr old!? LOL Or he just was wheezing like one...

I learned (initially)to dive in the damn cold waters of Monterey Bay, Calif! But hells yah - Pennecamp rocks! You knew they purposely sunk another ship out there for a new dive site, right? Remember the one that "didn't sink right"? They had to turn it over or something, Ah well. It's been a few years, it should have really excellent growth by now.

I used to work on a cruise ship - showing people how to snorkel. I meant to answer your cruise ship question but .. I haven't been on an Abe cruise. I have the intention to do the Tahiti one, though! I have wanted to go to the south Pacific - forevah! The $750 deposit for the Tahiti cruise is in my VE, I guess. LOL!! I don't get seasick, and I'd go for the excellent sleep (and partying) alone! I simply cannot lie down on a cruise and read anything - I get rocked and lulled to sleep. Although there was that one bad storm with 20 ft seas we went through one trip - I woke up literally catching air off the top bunk in my "crew quarters".... wow!

You just need to get your crazy rock and roll butt down here for a lil cruising and gambling and snorkeling time. I won $99 tonight... lol
