I went south to see those Musee d'Orsay pictures I told you about.
I remembered what you told me about appreciation.
I spent three hours going through every picture there.

And I found the one ... Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night ... the inky sky, dotted with bright stars with halos, silhouettted against the Arles buildings on the the river (sea ?).
I looked at it from the left, from the right, straight on, went away and came back again.

But there was so much to appreciate ... I feel Daisy has shed a lot of bitterness just in the short viewing.

THE DELICIOUSNESS IS IN THE EVERY DAY PUTTING PANT ON THE CANVAS.............

sure it feels good that it gets finished and good enough to go to competition ...and to win ...and win big...and get $!!!

But the real joy is the NOW ...the putting down the paint...in the now ..it feels good ..
even if tomorrow i paint it out cuz it does not look soo good in the next day!!!
but I never loose the joy of the putting on of the paint in that other day!!!

when it is done, the painting..
well,.... the joy is over..
it is old and done...

so where is my new ... delicious .... moment...desire.....

I have been an artist since grade school(and before :-)=even wining $ and many awards )

and i have painted on and off all my life....
some years vorasiously every day and even into the late night=maybe 4 am...

then some times no painting at all...

so in the last few years I have gotten good at
EVERY DAY
I PAINT
EVEN IF IT IS ONLY FOR AN HOUR OR 2 OR 3
EVERY DAY!!!
it feels sooo good

and I feel that it is keeping me healthier!!!!

When I did not let out my creativity,
it turned inward on me and i got ills...:-)

so I now paint to be happy and heathy...and to feel good!!!!

and i am wining big awards and soon

i will be manifesting a great stream of $ form the art...it is just part of the flow....:heart::heart::love::heart::joylick::heart ::grin::heart:

Well it depends what the temp is:grin:
Ihave a large smock to put over my clothes if they are nice...
or I have a large amount of clothes that are now full of paint so who cares !!! if a little more paint gets on them....
I paint on the floor a lot...
i pour paint often..it has to lay flat to dry and they are large canvases sooo they need to be on the ground....

If it is very hot!! and late at night ..I have been known to paint without clothes :heart::joylick::heart::facelol::heart::o:heart::j oylick::heart:

There is a British woman/authorh called Anita Brookner who didn't start writing unitl she was in her 50s. And still she found an audience and was commercially successful...
That bodes well for me.
