Forum Rules, 2010-01-25

The forum rules (http://abetalk.com/misc.php?do=showrules) have been updated. Section 1 has been amended. We will no longer be allowing freedom of expression at abetalk. In favor of making sure no one's feelings get hurt, we will now favor security. We have put together a panel of judges that will decide which posts deserve to be aired, and which posts will be scrapped. Every message will go in a waiting queue and will require administrative approval before appearing on the forums. We will filter every message for obscenity, provocation, harassment, racial tones, gender bias, political bias, end-of-the-world bias, conspiracy talk, and most important, childish behavior. We will, most absolutely, not allow anything colorful, playful, or that evokes the emotions of contentment through-to happiness.

If you have any objections, we will filter those too. :rolleyes:

I think your right in cutting out freedom of expression it's gotten us nowhere so far. We need to be moderated to conform to one way of happy living. In an ideal world everyone will have face lifts so that we all have permanent smiles and microchips implanted in our brains so that we can only say positive things. Bliss here we come!
