HIiiiiiiii

I know there's a chapter about this on The Astonishing Power of Emotions, but I just don't have it here :p

Ok, dad and I are a mess. You guys know I work with my dad, and this is a mess, look.

http://i45.tinypic.com/2zr2wb9.jpg

We forget about important stuff all the time, we procrastinate, but not procrastinate as much as,...OH THE STORE'S GONNA CLOSE! brb lol

ok, we just don't remember!

ok, maybe we don't care so much... we are not ''responsible'' and crap..

I have been working here since june 09, right? and my dad never actually taught me all there is to know about my duties... and then he blames me cuz I don't help him lol... he said I should be more interested and learn by myself lalala... point is he's almost as lost as I am... :p poor daddy...

anyway... its like we need a brain!

or sum1 organized...

we need Rodney... he didn't wanna come work with us...

so how can you get a little order or discipline or something when you don't care enough???

there's so much to do, we wanna start 2010 right... it's not work we can get done in one day, it's work that just be done every day and week... cuz if it is not done in the moment... then we're screwed, cuz we forget... writing down everything there is to have written... dealing with every client who doesn't pay on time... lol... and this number of duties... that we both forget about all the time... let alone the cleaning :joylick:...

Do any of you guys have problems like this? I mean... I think in my case, it's got something to do with my being an indigo... (those who r not familiar with this term, google it ) so let's say I don't fit in any kind of system... but my dad? he's 50 and he's always been like this, it's not about age, it's not that he's too old, he is just forgetful and needs sum1 to remind him things... and I... am so not meant for the job! :facelol: but I am here... and I wanna help him out... only... I dunno if we can organize this together... we'll be going on a vacation on Sunday :joylick:but when we get back, we gotta organize this mess of clients and rents and pending invoices, receipts and so on...

in my heart... in my soul... I just think it's a load o'crap... :drooling:

by this year in history, there should be no more sheets of paper being used for this... I mean... all of these trees! jesus, it should all be in the computer, just one computer... and a clean tidy office...

I want more order and I want to ease my dad's work... cuz everytime a client calls we'll have to look for one piece of paper all over the office... just to know when's the last time they paid...

or like... what bills did we pay and what bills are still due? XD

omg, help!

oh... maybe I should read Piņa's thread about being senile...

love you guys, thanks for your perspectives... :grouphug:

bwahahahaa you're so funny!
I know one jounalist that has all kind of little papers in his pockets
reaching for someone's telephone number...
he likes himself
he makes a style out of it.
Louise Hay say: if you don't know where to start, start in one corner, meaning start anywhere. I am messy myself, but I get better, I do.
Partly because I don't give a fak. I accept myself, and miracles happen as having a boyfriend to do the dishes. And also when you start conciously cleaning, finding ways...than with time habits come out of it.
What is possitive aspect in your story: you still have all that you need, somewhere.
Don't tell me it is hard to put things that are alike on same spot, map or stg. It is never too late to start.
I wanted to ask you , is the purpose of your avatar growth the breasts with watering?

I am Neatness itself.

. :wink2:

Leah,

Just want to say, there is an energy in your post that feels so good....in fact, feels like a profitable business, no need to fly to Argentina. There are a ton of shows on TV about clearing clutter and getting organized. Recently, I even saw a service somewhere for "toy" de-cluttering, in this land of a million toys.

Just putting it out there in case the reflection is in anyway useful.

Sounds to me like a very successful business. There is Something about the confidence and passion that exudes from your post.

I am a Tidier and Organiser. I love it. I can't help myself. I have filing systems. I file everything... including my clothes. I can put my hand on any bill or official letter I've received in the past three years. My computer is full of folders listed by subject and date. I can locate a job description and my application within seconds of the hirer introducing him/herself on the phone. I know exactly where every craft tool is, every piece of kitchen equipment, and all the gardening stuff right down to spare hose attachments. I am Neatness itself. The sole blip in my System is Neil. He keeps moving.

You and I are alike in the organization department...

by this year in history, there should be no more sheets of paper being used for this... I mean... all of these trees! jesus, it should all be in the computer, just one computer... and a clean tidy office...

I can develop website with database to manage your clients and bills. I can even get it to automatically invoice your clients on a monthly basis (if they are renting...) and offer them the option of completing payment through PayPal.
