I think Law of attraction was a useful tool for helping people gradually improve their life. But then people started telling this lie. And then they started making excuses to justify it like "WELL, the physical manifestation is not that important, it is only important that you FEEL like you have/are it!"

Peoples lives have been ruined financially, socially outcast, their mental and physical well-being, all because of this one fucking line. I think when you throw logic out the window, you're preparing yourself for a real giant ass-whooping -- like the one I got today.

I think law of attraction could have been a useful tool to teach people how to focus and think straight. Someone who was earning $500 a week could have moved up to $700, or maybe even doubled their income to $1000, and just think how much better that would mean for their life. But why would they set a manageable goal like that, when you people are telling them "You can have anything!" The logical sequitur is to ask for millions. That creates the biggest split of energy, the person ends up in despair, and their life gets fucked.
It's not exactly a lie 11:11. But it is unbalanced. I call it an Abraham Talking Point. They take a whole concept that, to be explained fully, would take a long time... and they condense it into one catchy little phrase. And it inspires people - and that is what it was meant to do. But the problem is that lots of people throw logic and balance out the window and so consequently end angry and disappointed... cause its not working for them the way they thought it should.

And I take issue with some of Abe's Talking Points too. It's hard to get them (Abe) to talk in practical terms sometimes. A bit frustrating. So you gotta listen real closely to take those lofty ideas and translate them into practical terms for you.

Remember how often Abraham says that if it feels like it is the next logical step then it is on the verge of manifesting. Does a million dollars tomorrow feel like the next logical step? No. Does a million dollars next year feel like the next logical step? Probably not. But maybe $50,000 does. And the year after that maybe $100,000. And one year it could be a million.

So, just get grounded. That's all you gotta do. Abraham teaches us to reach for the stars but you gotta keep your feet on the ground too. At least in the beginning... and someday you can fly... like those dolphins.

I remember Abraham talking on one of the recordings that it is not possible to create wealth in your life if you believe you have to work for it, but you don't want to work - kind of tricky situation because you want to get something in a certain way, but you don't believe you can get it that way. Get it? So, it really is all about ''If you can FEEL it, you can have it.'' Anything.

You were being absolutely completely totally honest to yourself, to the way you felt, and that's a great thing, because every vibrational improvement on this subject will now feel like a little bit better than what you felt yesterday, and a little bit better, and a little bit better, and a little bit better, so do it bit by bit, an inch of fresh air at a time, and focus on the amount of doe that makes you feel good right now, that feels reasonable and believable to you right now, and later let it roll in like crazy once you get the hang of it.

My story: I used to be a teacher of English. Teaching little kids 6-11 year olds and big kids 25-50 year olds... until I clearly felt that (although I'm a people person) I am not as happy doing this as I thought I would be. After 6 months of digesting these thoughts I finally decided to quit teaching and start translating... and now I work at home, have more time for myself than ever before and more money too, even though I am not paid every month like most of the people - I am happier, way more abundant, I feel freer and more fulfilled. I work when I set time aside for work, and all this just because I said to myself ''I want to be HAPPY.'' And now I'm floating towards new stuff, and new stuff, always with the main intent - to be happy. I came here to be happy. It feels so good to think an idea, feel it, and catch up with it, think, feel and catch up, think, feel, and catch up, think, feel, and catch up, catch up, catch up, catch up, catch up, yeahh man, catch up, catch up, KETCHUP KETCHUP KETCHUP KETCHUP!

......with joy i realized that in their contrast, they were shooting off these huge rockets of desire into vibrational escrow for things to be different--and they are OH so good at reacting to the contrast--what was lovely about it was i could see that they were doing the work for future generations to have ease! As i sat at the edge of the pool--a tiny yellow bird perched on top of a pointed cedar tree and started to sing and dance there...he doesnt care about oil, or his fancy nest-he knows he is beautiful, he knows that food will come to him--he knows that he is pure positive energy--and he knows that he is never more in alignment than when he is singing in his joy...it was a such a poignant moment for me--because i realized...i am one with that bird...:)

I've been thinking about what you said. Each of us is in a very different place in regard to the concept of the abundant life.

If you have not been raised in an environment of wealth, in a community of wealth, it IS challenging to get a handle on what Abraham is saying...There are so many factors of EXPECTATION. I am "thinking" that what you seem to be wanting is that "quantum leap" that Abraham says is not really desirable.

The thing that *I* am hearing is that LOA will lead you to the "inspired action" that allows in the money as you acclimate to the ever-increasing amounts of it.

I have found the life story of Cesar Milan to be a perfect example of this...He tells in the opening chapter of his book Be a Pack Leader how he illegally entered the US with an amorphous idea of where he wanted to find work, and as he was living off the streets, he saw dogs on LEASHES for the first time in his life, and noticed that almost all of them were "unstable energy", and a passion took hold in his heart, and ---he doesn't put it this way, but it is obvious to the reader that his joyous and appreciative journey that this passion led him on took him straight to where he is today---a multimillionare, I am sure, but as you watch the weekly segments, you can see, that it is the JOY that is the Vortex that is leading him on, leading him on...
For him, it was a believable, and continually self-affirming journey.

And---he was very young, he didn't have pressure of having to feed any other mouth than his own, it was an adventure of survival. He wasn't under pressure of "proving" anything. He just WANTED.

If you are a person who has gotten 'checks in the mail out of the ethers" and that is a BELIEVABLE event, then I guess that works. (Would never work for me, cuz while I have received a few such checks, the delivery is not *to me* reliable enough to build my plans around.)

However, IF I BELIEVE that I have a multi-level-marketing product of some sort that is just FABULOUS, there is a reasonable expectation that it will create those "checks in the mail."

So----I just want to encourage you, 11:11, to think that in your own way, you may have been "limiting" the U by expecting the dollars to come in a certain way......Be open to what opportunities may present themselves in the regular world of the "paycheck,"---be ready to jump in someplace and ride the flume as it barrels downstream.

The money does come from the "ethers" of Nonphysical because it is Energy---and Energy exchanges for something---Not exactly like the old song, "Money for Nothin' and the Chicks are Free" LOL!

Pat, I love Caesar Milian, his energy is so calming and aligning - I don't so much listen to his words as enjoy his energy, wisdom and the sparkle in his eyes. Caesar introduces the general population to energy - animals don't speak language- they read vibration so its all about what you are feeling when you interact with an animal... its all about the vibes you are radiating baby

I do believe everything is possible. I didn't have this belief when I was a kid and that refelcted on what was at that time.

I come from a country where scarcity is the norm. Unfortunately, a wide negative vibe about abundance is spread.

When I moved to Canada I had nothing. I mean *nothing*. No bed, no food (thank God for food pantries), no furniture, no house. I lived on welfare for a while and I am very thankful that the Canadian government (aka taxes) took care of me.

Now, 8 years later, I look back to that life situation and have a hard time believing I've come so far in so little time. My first aha moment I had when I read the book Creating Money by Sanaya Roman. After that book I couldn't look at life the same...many books later, I found Abe and things sped up even more.

I know for sure, I am on my way to millions. There is no doubt about that in my head. But the fun part is that now I am not on this path for the manifestation, but because it feels good to feel good NOW. Not when I get the stuff, but now!

Yeah, life is hard (when you don't get out of the way).

Ok, gotta go. Today is my birthday and I have A LOT of "getting out of the way" to do. XD

If you BELIEVE in that world, you will get to participate in it. Take a good listen to Bashar, where he is saying that ALL that is "material world" is utter illusion created by vibrations of the perceiver. So personally, I choose to BELIEVE that I have shifted to an 'orbit" so to speak where the machinations of those Beings, call them reptilians, or whatever, are free to create in THEIR domain and live out the experience, and I am free to create MINE.

As I used to tell my kids when they asked if Santa was real, "If you want to RECEIVE, you gotta BELIEVE."

And to BELIEVE, as it says in the Bible (in Malachi, I believe), that which is called God said, "Prove me now! I will open the storehouses of Heaven....etc." But read carefully---the recipient of that "Storehouse" had to be clear about the Belief and step out in faith and DEMONSTRATE by letting go of holding on to lack consciousness.

I'd like to add that it does indeed boil down to what one can believe in... It's all about what is believable to a person. I remember when I first began reading & listening to Abe's teachings, that this particular quote use to generate feelings of excitement and inspire me to DREAM BIG. Still does. I would visualize becoming a Millionairess b/c that's what all the hype is about. But from where I was standing vibrationally, that dream was not possible for me. It was unbelievable to me. So I finally realized that what really felt good & most importantly, what was believable, was for me to reach for the abundant feeling of becoming a American Middle-class family. Maybe doesn't sound too inspiring, lol but for me, when I imagine being a home-owning, two-new-vehicle-owning, 2-to-3-vacations-a-year, money-market-bank-account, 75-Thousand-a-year, "Heiress" :queen: ... Well, it feels like a MILLION bucks to me. And once I lined up with that, the money began to reflect in my physical reality. However, I have not given up on my Millionairess dream... I've just resolved to take easy, comfortable, believable steps to get there. I think that's why Abe also says "Make peace w/ where you are". I still believe in the Magic of the phrase that I can Be, Do or Have anything that I desire... It's just a matter of whether or not I'm vibrationally ready to allow it in.

A couple of comments:

I don't think 90% of the workforce prostitutes themselves... maybe 80% ;) . Just kidding... I have no idea... but I gotta say I did it for alot of years. Going to a job and doing something I REALLY DID NOT WANT TO DO... just for the money. It paid the bills and gave me and my kids a reasonable lifestyle. So it was worth it. I'd do it again too... but this time I'd line up with my choice as best as I could. (Eventually I did do that.) So it wouldn't be "prostitution" anymore. It would be making the best of things and it would be a HUGE vibrational difference.

Why don't you just do the best you can to make peace with your life exactly as it is right now? Make peace with your situation... with your health... with your husband... with your job. I mean, you're not in a concentration camp waiting for your turn in the shower. If you can manage to make peace with where you are and quit pushing against your life then you'll feel the relief and turn in the Stream.

You know what I used to do when I was feeling down and out? This sounds wierd but I would watch the news. All the horrible, awful things going on in people's lives around the world actually cheered me up. Cause I'd watch mothers with their babies starving to death and realize that I COULD FEED MY KIDS. And I'd watch about people who had horrible diseases and realize that I WAS HEALTHY... AND I COULD WALK AND I WASN'T IN A WHEELCHAIR. etc.

Lastly... my father was not a millionaire - he was an asshole. My husband did not have schizophrenia - he was a drug addict (crank/crystal meth). By the way, I was a drug addict too - for 10 years. Then I cleaned up. Then we were on welfare for 2 years. Then I got tired of hubbies drug lifestyle because I had cleaned up but he didn't. So I dumped him. LOTS of guilt because I had been "rescuing" him for a long time and he was kind of pitiful... but I dumped him anyway and dealt with the guilt later. Then I was a single Mom with 2 kids and no child support for many years. We've all got our shitty stories to tell. My story changed and I have a great life now. Your story can change too.
