I know what you mean, Alex! I can definitely understand their perspective, moderating the board and all. But it's ironic that it's an Abraham forum, yet it's so restricting. Oh well. We have this place! Freedom abounds here, so have fun!

Oh, and bring all your friends from the other forum over here! He-he

I can respect your decision and your passion, RnRG. I have been lurking and admiring so many of yours (and others) posts for months. Recently I tried to assist someone who was asking about the EGS and because I posted a link to a page that was not 'legal', but it was very oh-so perfectly Abe, my reply was deleted. Oh I could have written to this person individually, but what's the point of a board? So more than one person can talk and help at a time, yes?

Anyway. Someone posted here recently that it's very joyous and free over here, like when you were a kid playing and Mom and Dad weren't watching. I am very with that!

I was inspired by the thread on the other place about Abe-ish type music and had uploaded a zip file of 20 positive songs, and I was told by the mod there not to post the link, because it would be "illegal". Well, a nice Aber person here said "you can post it on AbeTalk.com" .. which is how I got here today.

Thanks for sharing your passion, RnRG, and all of you uber-cool Aber folks. I think I am going to like it here!

And now about that music.... I guess I'll just make a new post about it.

I see value in both forums, so there is no need to compare -- but the little birdy in my head chirps "abetalk is better than theabeforum"

Howdy Goddess... I've noticed you pushing the envelope on TheAbeForum... you bad girl. :winking:

I can get away with some things over there too... but every time I "pushed" the envelope it didn't feel good... wondering... will I get away with it this time? Fortunately I've never been deleted or edited... but it would sure PISS me off if I was. I haven't been spending much time on TheAbeForum lately either, partly cause I'm busy and partly cause, like you, I have had mixed feelings about it.

I can see Jody & David's point of view... they have a vision of what they want and they are holding true to it... so good for them.

But it is ironic that an Abe Forum would be so restrictive. We all all freedom-seeking beings, especially those of us on the Leading Edge I would guess... and to be reined in just makes us want to freak out!

Yay for AbeTalk... and another thing I like about this place... it feels more relaxed and easy-going. Easy peasy...

Hey LeapingDolphin! Welcome to the Forum! Guess what I am doing this very minute while I'm typing this? Downloading your music! 31% done. Thanks!

I'm also very happy to hear that, I did that long time ago, it was when Abetalk begin to work, and it was the reason for it. This forum can be the same as there, it is only us-people that make it be or not be. If we put all subjects, all our energy in here, this forum can be p e r f e c t.

This is what I wanted when I decided, ok this goes over my boundaries on Theabe, let's make other forum. And really abetalk gets richer with time.

Hi Alex: I know your frustration. I've been reading more on TheAbeForum and posting much less...it's becoming too upstream for me to post there anymore. I'm constantly concerned that I am going to post something "illegal" or get a thread locked or deleted or my posts edited. It has happened alot, especially for seemingly innocent things.

I know David and Jody have all of these rules in place to uphold their vision for the board, and I totally respect that. But sometimes the way it is handled is less than kind. But I just bless them and go on...

I know without a doubt that this forum here was created with many many rockets of desire from frustrated Abers from the other board.

So let's hear it for FREEDOM!!!!!!

Not be a fluffy, dry, warm, cosy blanket and all, but isn't it so much more fun to focus on what we do want and have. HOOOORAY Freedom. This can be the place we come to gripe about the injustices of the other forum or it can be the place we come and romp and play and celebrate our Freedom. I love the Abe Forum for the Focus. I have learned to tune in and share from that connected good feeling place, so the topics are limited but that's great because it sent out the rockets of desire that created this fun happy playground away from the watchful eyes of any limitations with a topic free fest that delights the senses. I like freedom but I also like focus. All wonderful ingredients of my delightful pie.

So THAT'S why you disappeared. rofl

I realize there are different levels of people there now and yet I can't put my finger on why, but it just feels upstream to me now.
Ditto - me too. Can't put my finger on it but somethings changed and I don't quite "fit" there like I used to. I think it is about the people. And that's OK - LOA is pulling me away from there and over here. All is well.

I like freedom but I also like focus.
This is a perfect way of looking at it mueni! TheAbeForum is very focused. David & Jody are determined to keep it that way. And there is benefit in that. So TheAbeForum for focus and AbeTalk for freedom. How cool is that?

asjairok
Mon Jun 09 2008, 1:01pm
I disagree that here on abetalk can't be focus.
Because it is on people that contribute with stories and material,
and of course if one is divided within two forums, they put their Abraham forum there and rest here.
That's all.
We can make focus.
What is different in idea here, is that we can put other LOA material, and ideas and knowledge, even if it is not coming from Abraham.
And idea was this to be forum that is flowing only better in freedom of communication between us. :D
At least from my part, but I know that Ronald shares similar vision with me.
It is on us all , because Ronald and 11:11 are not parenting us here, we can make it happen. :D :P

This community reflects the TRUE spirit of not just the MESSAGE of Abraham, but the MESSAGE of all connected Masters throughout time: FREEDOM. And from this place of freedom comes fun AND focus. We get to choose. And isn't it nice we can go back and forth between fun and focus? And even combine FUN into FOCUS?! AbeTalk is vibrating brightly, attracting many with its openness, its loving and safe environment, and it will only continue to grow. I'm thrilled that I found this group of people to connect and share with...there's such a relaxed, organic feel to the topics... a place where nothing is off limits -- from conversations about other master teachers to blatant expressions about the joy of sex! I appreciate the formation of this forum, and I look forward to its forever-expansion.

I understand perfectly your stance RnRG! I still go there to read mostly and very seldom post nowadays. It just feels upstream now, not as welcoming as before.
They have deleted some of my posts in the past, and for no real reason at all. Also they have edited them only because I quoted someone right after they posted... so, they deleted the quote and left only my answer... I thought that was so restricting, no freedom of expression with something that is of no consequence or even important.

Another time I was sent a PM because I opened a thread that was thriving and Jody thought it wasn't about Abraham and she said, in order to leave it, if she could connect it to Abraham on the subtitle of the thread.... but... I HAD ALREADY DONE THAT FROM THE BEGINNING!!! :( Later she noticed it and apologized.. but the fact remains that you don't feel free anymore, even within the rules, cause I had followed them in that case.

Anyway, I vented already hehe... now my vibration is up again on that subject! Thanks RnRG and all of you for giving me the chance to do it..... and ALL IS WELL... even The Abe Forum!

WOO HOOOOOO for TOTAL FREEDOM! :woohoo:

Something just doesn't feel right about censoring people. Especially on a board that is supposed to be about following your individual joy, fuck that shit. If my individual joy is talking about sex and swearing that should be accepted on an Abraham forum. If my individul joy is about ANYTHING, it should be accepted. Maybe no one would respond to it, but it shouldn't be just deleted. Are they reading the same Abraham material I have read???

I like both forums, but I tend to be too analytical and logical on Abeform.
And I do think being analytical and academic about how you post
tends to be encouraged.

Yet I've also heard Abraham state that you can't be logical when
you approach their teachings. Their teachings are all about
feeling. And you can't restrict feeling. If someone is feeling
anger and expresses it, and they feel better, even if someone
else doesn't like their anger, then they have done the work of Abraham.

They may not be talking about Abraham, but they are doing the
work of Abraham, since they are deliberately feeling their way
to improvement.

And from my perspective, that is completely on topic to the teachings.

I think the basis of Abraham isn't about talking about Abraham, but
about feeling your way to improvement, and this applies in any form
it would take (being angry, revengeful, etc).

For me, I tend to be a little too goofy on this forum (hee ... hee ... hee).

But I think being silly outlets positive feeling, which is exactly what
I feel the Abraham teachings are about, allowing your Source to flow
through you without restriction, because it feels better.

But we all should give Jody and David credit for their efforts. Of course
there is a difference of opinion on how to approach the Abraham teachings,
but that is the beauty of variety on this planet. Everyone can choose
what feels best for them, and we are not all asked to agree. And we shouldn't
because that is the point of contrast. People on abetalk can post what feels
best for them, and those on Abeforum can post what feels best for them.

No one is wrong, and no one party is more right. It's just a choice of what
feels best for the person who posts.

I have always admired the freedom seeking being that you are and I got to know you as somebody who walks her talk.

So: good-bye to restrictions and welcome to the unrestricted playground!

Hi RnR Goddesssss! Ellen said it for me as well.

After reading this thread, I went to whatanicewebsite.com to find the transcription of Abraham when they spoke to David about the Abe forum he was starting then - I had a chance to read it once, but it seems like its no longer available... anyway, I remember very well Abraham saying that those who seek more freedom and expansion will go their own way, a natural process that will happen. At first it read like a prophecy to me, but if I look back, leaving the board really is the most natural thing - we are following our joy, freedom seeking beings that we are, and the Abe forum played or plays kind of jumping-board role in our expansion.

I was ''lucky'' when I received one of the most unimaginable PM's from the supermoderator - so TITITO it made me laugh and I even wrote a loving reply, and then it never happened again. (Whew..mopping my forehead) lol

Blessed contrast.

OK, NOW LET'S ROCK ON!

I remember very well Abraham saying that those who seek more freedom and expansion will go their own way, a natural process that will happen.
I remember something along these lines too Natasha and I've been thinking about it lately. Watching it happen right here at AbeTalk. :winking:

Alex - I do remember Andrew. I remember that crazy thread he had going and that is exactly when the original Abraham-Hicks Abe Forum crashed and burned. I wondered at the time if that was why... I mean, he was really pushing the envelope there with some of the stuff he was saying about Esther... and it wasn't very nice. But who knows? I'm probably crediting that guy with too much power to flame out the first forum. Truthfully I thought he was a nutcase... but then some people think I'm a nutcase. rofl

Reading about all the deletions and editing that went on behind the scenes at TheAbeForum is actually kind of surprising/disturbing. Never happened to me but I did see posts disappear mysteriously and for no good reason. I guess that is why I still have a soft spot in my heart for TheAbeForum... because I escaped the wrath of the moderators. But if I had had one of my posts deleted or been slapped for something I said I'd probably be just as angry as the rest of you.

Ah well... enuf about that.

I remember Andrew. Someone posted a quote on The Abe Forum not too long ago (accredited to Abraham) and wanted to know when/where etc. I had read it on Andrew's blog and posted a cryptic reply because I didn't think it would be PC to mention his name. It was a very Abe quote. Abe translated through Andrew not our dear Esther. The thread was locked (in a very nice way I might add) after Jody had asked me about the post. I like (no love) both forums. But then, I've always been a "don't rock the boat" type person. If I get something out of what someone else knows, great. If not, not my pie. Thanks so much for starting this forum for us all to expand as we desire.

Rodney
Tue Jun 10 2008, 6:42am
Ess, I noticed that too. After a few months, I felt The Abe Forum was no longer leading-edge, it was the same stuff being repeated over-and-over.

Let me share what I think is going on here -- the difference between our forums, is like Myspace and Facebook.

Facebook was first to open it's social network to outside developers. They allowed third-parties to create "Applications" that could be added by users to their Facebook profile. What happened? You go to someone's profile page, and their page loads with 90 annoying applications. What used to be a simple process of finding someone's phone number, or looking at their photos, is now a sorting process of looking through all the junk that doesn't interest you.

Myspace, for a time, did not want to open their doors to third-party applications. So, many of the Myspace users migrated and became Facebook users instead.

---

TheAbeForum is like Myspace. They know that if they allow people to start making posts about topics other than those related directly to the teachings of Abraham, what happens is a lot of "Junk" will start flowing into the forum, and then people will have to filter through all this unwanted information to find the tid-bits that they can use.

So in favor of saving the users filtering time, Jody and David take care of the filtering, which is a time-consuming process. TheAbeForum is simply sticking to a niche and staying true to their roots.

We split off from the roots of TheAbeForum, and opened up our own Facebook -- we called it Abetalk. It has picked up popularity, there's some great conversations going on here -- but it doesn't mean Myspace is not cool anymore.

To the lovely RnRG: I haven't been on either forum much lately for reasons I'll reveal in a moment; but I think I saw the thread that was your final straw: you and davestone13 talked about sports briefly, and moderator jumped in - when I saw it, I thought "OUCH!!! What the hell was THAT about?!"
I haven't been on the Abeforum lately because its narrow structure makes for good instructional information, not so good for self-expression. And that's great for precisely the reasons 11:11 stated....
I haven't been on here much (though I do some lurking, hehe) because I've been busy expressing myself by starting my own website

I believe the reason Abraham specified to David how the Abeforum should be structured was precisely so that some of us would feel the contrast of the restrictions, and seek the expansion of creating new forums with greater freedom; I think Abe knew EXACTLY what they were doing.....
Think about it: Why tell us repeatedly that freedom is like air to us, then intentionally restrict that freedom?
Genius, man.....Love it!!

RnRGoddess, I'm just glad you're somewhere that I can find you and read your brilliant comments. You really DO rock and anyone who says differently is itching for a fight! :winking:
I remember Andrew Wilcox. He was so entertaining. Remember the picture of him with the cat on his head? I knew the second he got on the Abe forum he was either going to be booted or that forum was going down! I also remember that 50 page post he had on the first forum I found him on. He had some big tiff going with a woman and there was some good stuff in there. It got ugly and abusive sometimes but if you could pick thru the muck and mire, there were some gems.
He's probably started some bizarre cult by now.
It's great to be able to remember the road traveled and to see ahead into the bright future with all the awesome minds here and the FREEDOM!! While I do enjoy the other forum, there is a walking the line, mention Abe 5 times to get on sort of feeling.

Hi Guys!
I haven't posted here for awhile but I felt inclined to pop in on this thread to say that I so appreciate
you all as well as this forum!

I too feel as though this forum is the sustenance to my leading edge expansion... It was here that I discovered Bashar when I was craving more leading edge information yet feeling unfulfilled through what I was receiving via Abraham sources. I also discovered the Omega Shift here. Man, did that blow me away for a few days! It took me (little me) sometime to catch up w/ mySELF after experiencing that. I know that I can always come here & find information & insight that will satisfy my craving for advancement in my spiritual expansion. Haha! It's kinda like Miracle Grow! XD

Here's to US & the wonderfully FREE forum that we have created!
I love you guys! Natty

Thanks Natty :)

Hi all!

Spread those wings rocknrollgoddess!

I haven't been showing myself around here that much.
I think this reply is the first one of many since I can feel that same restriction on the other forum more and more.

I scratched my head when I signed up and received the PM with all the rules  .
They have their freedom to do that, and it is up to us to voluntarily and temporarily get in the cage to participate or not.
Thing is, some here have wings which they cant spread and use in that cage. When they get in, they will feel it (wings in this case meaning the freedom, way of expression, usage of words, links, quotes, etc.)
The idea of being outside the cage, enabling me to post a link or quote, that might be helpful to others, as it helped me, is f*&#$n great!!

Jody wrote me once and angrily told me that this forum wasnt a help line and to stay on topic.

Wow. I got a few messages from Jody but she was always cheerful, friendly, and full of positive energy. I was actually amazed, about some of the less-than-fruitful posts I made, that she was still willing to communicate with me in such a loving manner.

I really can't say anything bad about TheAbeForum, I always had a good experience there -- it just is, it does it's own thing, and it works for some people.

Hi 11:11,

That has been my experience also. I love it there, for the rampages of appreciation forum and those who play with me there. And I love it here, for the pure freedom of expression.

Gee, I get to have it all. :dance2:

Jody has been very kind to me when we've emailed.

I will admit she will have a difference of opinion
on what gets posted on abeforum, and she does edit
and delete posts, which I think should have been left
alone.

But she does have a good heart in wanting to help
others with understanding the Abraham material.

And it comes across as wanting others to see things
through her way - with the rules and regulations about
what to and what not to post - but I know her intent
is to be of service.

She is willing to put in the time to write others online, so someone
can understand the Abraham material. And I admire that. She's written
some uplifting things to people that have really benefited from what
she has put out.

She puts a lot of time on the Abeforum - and the teachings
mean a lot to her - and that deserves recognition.

I agree with both 11:11 and AttractionFactor EXACTLY! I feel like I don't really fit on TheAbeForum so much anymore... part of it is about the restrictions... but its not about Jody. I'd write more about why but 11:11 and AttractionFactor said it perfectly already.

I LOVE JODY.

I agree with you New Dawn.

And Ana you are right -- we should always
choose the people we want to be with.

Not everybody is a fit for everybody. I know I tend to be too
structured, and that can be annoying to others who are more spontaneous,
so we just don't get with one another. But we just go along our
merry, separate ways, and hang out with others who are more
of a match to us.

It's like dating. You meet someone, it was a nice time,
but then you realize it's not a match anymore, so you separate.

And like New Dawn Rising says, the group there may not be a match
to what some of us are wanting. For me, I like to write there because
I tend to get these Abraham euphuisms that just come up, and I love to write them out, and there is always a voice willing to hear what I write.

And Jody has been supportive of things I post, and has
emailed me a few times about her appreciation. Her appreciative emails
were very considerate of her.

But sometimes you go to a party, and you realize its not
the right vibe for you anymore. It was at a time, but now
it just doesn't gel with you - but that's OK - because there's
always another group of people that can match you.

So you move on.

And that's nice to go another forum, or another place, where you
can mingle with another group of people. And others can mingle
with someone else too :).

"after jerry and esther felt their board was upstream"

They did?
Here's the story in a nutshell Jen:
In March and April of 2007 Abraham-Hicks (Jerry & Esther) started up a Forum. Lots of people jumped on real quick and it was a blast. Lots of energy and lots of fun. It looked alot like the current abe forum - the software interface and all the emoticons and stuff... David was one of the moderators.

Then at the end of April it shut down super abrubtly. No warning or anything. I remember when I went to log on and WOW - the forum had just disappeared with no explanation. Now some of us have our theories on why Jerry & Esther decided their forum was upstream... but we'll never know and they never told us.

At any rate, all of us wailed to the far reaches of the Universe because we were having so much fun and now it was GONE. So David, with permission from Abraham-Hicks I believe... started another forum on his own dime. He started it up the very beginning of May 2007, only a week or two after the first one flamed out. Boy were we all happy!

I love David too!

Oh yeah, RRG. Have you heard the Mexican Riviera Cruise 2008? Abe talks about having an icecream cone and not needing others to lick it and tell you it is good for YOU TO KNOW IT IS GOOD. I just love the analogy.

Licking mine.. looks like yours is good too. How cool we are BOTH enjoying ours.

I WAS DELETED NUMEROUS TIMES AND LOCKED!!! I DID NOT KNOW THAT OTHERS WERE HAVING THIS SITUATION ALSO...I FELT ALONE AND DEVASTATED (I WAS NOT AS BRAVE AS ALEX). WHEN I pm'd the moderator=i just broke into tears and cried and cried...
i was told that my fonts where too big and i used too many emoticons=that one per post is enough! And then I was told that my energy of my posts was... (bad) and that I was blogging and that people didn't really like to read my posts, they were too hard to read---it was a 2 or 3 paragraph pm and I had felt that the forum was my home, my group of special friends and spiritual family...=i felt soo hurt and betrayed!!
Wow brightlight! I'm so shocked. This just doesn't sound like the Jody I know and love. I mean I believe you of course! I must tell you that I used to enjoy your posts. Your vulnerability and your openness and your honesty... and your enthusiasm and love (that's why so many emoticons!)...

]DEAR ROCKNROLLGODDESS!

YOUR RESPONSE=HOW LOVING OF YOU!!

WELL THE TRUTH IS SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN..OF COURSE, I DO NOT WANT TO BE LIKE EVERYONE ELSE=I AM AN ARTIST AND WE ARE SUPPOSSED TO BE OUT ON THE LEADING EDGE, THAT IS WHAT MAKES A GOOD CONTEMPORARY ARTIST...AND I LIKE MY UNIQUENESS AND SPECIALNESS ...AND...HONESTLY I DO HAVE A DESIRE TO HAVE A COMMUNITY TO BELONG TO, A GROUP HOWEVER SMALL IT MAY BE, TO FEEL THE SPIRITUAL FAMILY OF ONENESS...THE ABRAHAM FORUMS HAVE HELP ME HAVE THIS CAUSE I AM TOOO LEADING EDGE OR SOMETHING FOR THE SPIRIT GROUPS HERE IN MY LOCALE.
AND YOU ARE RIGHT, I CAN NOT AND WILL NOT, EVEN AS A TEENAGER, CHANGE MYSELF TO FIT IT..EVEN THOUGH I MAY WANT TO FIT IN...SO I MOVE ON AND SEE IF I CAN FIND ANOTHER PLACE IN WHICH TO FIT IN AND FEEL THE LOVE AND SOURCE VIBES THAT I DESIRE...AND MAYBE I WILL JUST FEEL THEM IN NATURE AND IN MEDITATION AND IN LEADING GROUPS HELPING OTHERS TO FIND THEIR SOURCE..
INTERESTING, HOW WHEN THIS ALL HAPPENED MONTHS AGO ONLY ONE OR 3 ABERS WHERE THERE TO SOOTH ME, WELL AT FIRST THERE WAS NONE... AND NOW THAT I DO NOT NEED SOOTHING ALL YOU BEAUTIFUL ABERS TELL ME THAT I WAS OK AND YOU LIKED MY POSTS=I SMELL LAW OF ATTRACTION. It is about time lady ... we had discussed this very thing as I was quite concerned for the lack of freedom in that place in another space & time. I knew in my heart it was not Abraham's will. And I had to listen to that inner voice (IB).

 Hi, Hi!!

Well, if my soul sister RnRG is here - then, here I am too!!

Several weeks ago I had a post immediately pulled from the Abe board, because I offered that my guided vis might be helpful to someone who was wanting to add weight rather than lose it. The vis is free and I didn't post a link - but my site is my "business" site and the post was yanked. It was so bizarre because people talked about my vis quite a bit over there, but all of a sudden I got a post pulled for mentioning it.

After that happened, I was much more hesitant to post anything.

I am so happy to see so many FABULOUS Abers here!!

I am jumping in to play!!

Love and Joy, Steph

energy that tosses things around, that brings things into the LIGHT can be scary for others who are not ready to hear the message...when they are exposed to that energy--even abraham will say--they dont respond, they just get pissed cause you are trying to wake them up--and they want to sleep!

While I am nowhere near as thrilled with the prospect of writing the word "fuck" as much as it seems some are, I do enjoy the expansion into new areas on this forum. The references to Bashar have been very exciting for me, and I appreciate them.

I have really enjoyed the AbeForum, and have appreciated Jody's great effort to bring in the Abraham concepts to people who had not a not of exposure to them, and were not "getting" what they were being given by the other members.

I am thinking that Jody is only doing what she has been instructed to do. The inability to post links on that forum was frustrating to me. No one is being forced to click on one. I assumed it was to keep those who are hawking their MLM wares and such, (LOL, I have some of my own!) but again, no one is jumping through the screen to make you GO to the sites.

I had my share of compliments as well as deleted posts (mostly for bringing in St. Germain into the discussions ("not germane" I was told... LOL---At least it was an intelligent criticism!!!LOL!)

And true, it did get to be kind of tedious hand-holding people through issues they were resisting a change of viewpoint on, but after all, the avowed intention of AbeForum is to discuss Abe and YOU. There do seem to be limitless options for "Abe and youuuuuuuuu."

I recall also, when the original forum was closed down. I assumed it was because the moderators had NOT nipped off some really weird, and rather unbalanced and malicious stuff they had allowd on there posted by the person that has been mentioned on this thread. A statement was briefly posted that I assumed alluded to that,(the inappropriate content, but not the person), but it didn't stay up long. I thought at the time it would have been better to just state the case of " inappropriate comments," delete them, and go on without the drama of closing down. But that is water under the bridge, and not MY pie, and the outcome of it was a much more user-friendly and attractive board, so all is well in the long run.

I still like to visit there and make comments occasionally, and like my much-admired BrightLight, I find camraderie withthemembers of all AbeForums.

Just had to pipe up!

I've left also. The incident that ticked off Alex ticked off me as well. No need to go into all the details. I have no problem with Jodi's and David's guidelines. We know what they are when we sign up. It was the collection of self-appointed administrators who felt it necessary to comment negatively when, in their opinion, posts were not Abe enough for them. Two popped up in a single thread because Alex and I strayed with a couple asides about our favorite sports teams. Seemed to have offended somebody. Who needs have to think twice every time you post?

Crane
Tue Jun 17 2008, 3:36pm
The crane's a recent photo from San Francisco, but they've popped up in odd places all my life. A story all in itself...

The rainbow I used in the forum was one that popped up on the Hungarian border, looking back passed what once was the iron curtain. I was thinking about Esther's story about driving into St. Louis and hoping to see the arch only to find out they were going that way. Then, as they took an alternate route around the city, a rainbow appeared. She thought it might be source saying "Arch–I can do arch!" Sweet and funny. Anyway, I was thinking about this on the road from Vienna to Budapest, and then, after the border checkpoint, we parked and up came my own Abraham rainbow. It was gorgeous, and I believe Source ran it up over the heavens for me. A little later, inside Hungary in a farm field, I saw my first FLOCK of cranes. I'd only seen them solo before, which had always seemed a message to me to not worry about being alone. Wonder what the flock meant.

Oh, and by the way, now I can say it: My Yankees are going to whip your Red Sox butts this year. I guess I won't catch criticism for that here.

Nice to see you Alex!

The cruise was over the moon, man. I met up with some really cool folks who liked blowing soap bubbles over the back of the boat. You had to be there to feel the vibe. It was amazing to sit in the hotseat and talk to Abraham. I got the vibe that they were telling me stuff that I already knew but had forgotten. In fact the answer they gave me to my question was given to me last year by my IB in some Auto typing I did. I just forgot all about it. I expect to recognise and live in my ever evolving now and live happily ever after.
I recomend that everyone could put a luxury cruise down on their 'Bucket list'. Something to do before we kick it...the bucket that is.(lol)

Hi Simon ~

You mentioned auto-typing. I take it that is similar to automatic writing? I have tried to auto-write using my non-dominant hand but find the process tedious as it is hard to write legibly. I was wondering about auto-typing as I had read that this is how Esther used to receive Abraham (and I guess still does when she is writing a book).

Can you share the process and what you do when you auto-type?

Thu Jun 19 2008, 6:43am
I got the best results when I was extremely tide...like last thing at night before going to sleep.
I just sit at my computer and start typing the story I feel as the words and phrases rise up from within me. I am sure everyone could do this also.
Here is an example from my journal....
31/10/07
Your sacred place gets confused by the complexity of your senses and how they have tricked you onto a different road of perception, a myriad of choices clouded by a tidal surge of overwhelming diagnostic suggestions. This is a track of unknowing desperation. It is a trick, a lie that you told and believed yourself. It is not real. You have fallen for your own deception.
Your physical senses have overwhelmed you with demands. Awake, you have within your being the vibration of abundance, dancing at every corner upon this physical plane. Reach out and feel this vibrant illumination.
Let not resistance spoil your true formation. Worlds will be yours and eons of pleasure await your attendance. All will gaze at the awesome life you have become.
They will seek it also and when they too find that jewel, there will be an emotive reaction that cannot stop, for then resistance flees to its den in the caverns of self doubt only to find no friend for they have all fled the light of that towering emotion, the charges of appreciation have chased them into their desert to perish from the physical plane forever.
Resistance is then but a shadow of it’s once powerful giant, hiding in the darkness that diminishes evermore so rapidly as the wave after wave of appreciation throws light upon every crevice on this physical place, that glorious army of love and bliss that no foe can stand before.
This pure energy is ours, and we can all be as we wish and dream and desire, for no longer does the ugly monster roam our thoughts and tug at our emotional path.
All that is can rejoice in the knowledge that the physical ones are with us and now the universes can unfold with a quantum leap for your dimension has evolved to the next place and we await you with the longing of a father’s reunion with the son that returns from adventures afar. Worn and ragged you may appear to those who have missed you but we have made ready the banquet and the dancers and the musicians are playing the music of the triumphant.
You have returned, you are now with us again but the difference this time is that you have not yet left the physical plane. You have blended your light with ours and all dominions are ablaze with this news and all that is presents this new child with a purple cloak that is reserved for the rulers of the vastness of what will be.

good stuff simon--you are still in your writing trying to dismiss the physical/ego--thats very ingrained in you--but its getting less and less--i love the all dominions are ablaze stuff!

Interesting observation Goddess
That was written six months ago and I recall you made a similar comment when I sent that same journal entry it to you back then.
Since then I had come to the realisation that my auto typing was for my own future reinforcement of my ever evolving now. I have a realisation now that My ego is a fabrication just as this time space place that houses it is also. The world I described in my writing is a place of non physical intention and the essence of that intention is the resulting power of joy unabated.

Yippeee!
I am with you, believe it or not 100% Goddess!!!!
I am non physical with a physical focus.
This is where it is at, Big time!!!!! the physical experience.
I love going down the rabbit hole but at the same time I am enjoying the physicalness that allows me to engage these concepts. I love this time space place and because of my emerging rediscovery of my non physical intention(well being) this place is even better now. I write deep stuff but I play just like all the other kids.

We are not human beings seeking a spiritual experience; We are Spiritual beings having a Human Experience.

Well, as far as the censoring at the Abe board.... I've been a Maverick my whole life (A trait wholly encouraged by my family!) If I didn't get censored or locked out once in a while, then I'm not trying hard enough! Where's the edge of this envelope?!?! I enjoy trying to get as much in under the radar as I can! The truth is I've been so busy in my life (moving into a new home, planning my wedding and revamping my expressive arts work) that I haven't been as active on theabeforum, much less thinking I had time to check out a new forum!

This morning, I have some time and I felt drawn to coming over here to see what is going on. I confess that I was a bit amazed at what so many of you experienced on theabeforum. My own personal experience was very positive and, yet, I have felt a shift in energy over there.

All of this contrast which blossoms into expansion is LOA sorting everything out. Isn't that fabulous? I love how LOA matches up the energies of like intentions.

I can see I'm going to have fun playing over here. Wow, there are so many interesting threads to check out!

All truly IS well!

Love,Silky (aka Violet)

Hi everyone! (not to get back to the OP...but) Rock n Roll Goddess- Thank you for this. It's really interesting to see everyone's perspectives on the forums. I check in with the abe forum every now and again. I think that there is a lot of wisdom there (of course those wise people are over here also!). Sometimes I felt upstream about logging on, so when that happens, I just don't bother. I've got a lot of tools at my disposal, and the abe forum for me was just a way to get a sense of other people's experiences. Not to be mean, but there seems to be a lot of whining over there lately!

causes us to grow and expand, with all this discussion.

You know, I think everyone who joined the abeforum has complained at least once about the lack of freedom in there, it is just not focusing on Abe's teaching, but restriction about everything, even the way to write. should I quote this, should I put this kind of letter when referring to this, should I speak about this, should I not, that.s totally OPPOSITE to Abraham and Source!
Once I felt really dissapointed about it, but then I found the positive aspects of that forum. In fact I was very appreciative of having lots of folks to talk to even though with "big brother's eyes" upon me all the time chastising this or that.. and when I felt that that positive...
Steph invited me here !! And I love it!!! :meditate:

Hey Adal,

We should all do what feels good. I respect the AbeForum and I like Abetalk.
I also like to laugh and make jokes, and Abetalk attracts more of that.

I also like to post links, make fart noises (See Tangerine's post below),
and get kind of wicked when I do humor, but it's all in fun. And at Abetalk
I'm "allowed" to do that (and that's a key word in Abraham terminology).

This forum is for people who like to play and have fun. :) It's leading edge.

But yes, I came into aligment with it, made peace with its rules and that allowing led me to be invited to join this one and it feels real good! It-s fun and I am surprised I feel I was the only one missing it!

Wow. What a fantastic form of deliberate creation.
You asked (through your vibration for a freer forum)
and you received through Steph!

It's interesting how all of us post differently without feeling
restricted on this forum. From this forum, I personally feel many of us
feel more aligned with how we "feel," than how we "think" about the
Abraham teaching. And I think feeling is far more important than
how we logically think about the teaching.

Likewise, as I was going though my Abe Quotes, I came across this:

Daily Quotation
Even though you would like your government to orchestrate the laws or God to orchestrate the law or somebody to give everybody one set of rules, it's not ever going to happen. Each one of you, individually, are seeking your own vibrational balance, and when you find it, then you will welcome all kinds of different beliefs, because you will never fear that the belief will take you someplace that you don't want to be. --- Abraham
Excerpted from the workshop in Atlanta, GA on Saturday, September 13th, 1997

So in regards to the rules of AbeForum, like you, I respect them.

They have their vision, but each of us have our own. Yet Law
of Attraction is always managing us, where those who want to express
themselves in a certain way will come together, and those who express
themselves differently will go in an another direction.

And LOA clusters everyone together based on their vibration. It is
the Manager of All That is.

And in this forum, the wackier, the merrier, the sillier, and the wickeder - the better.
And I think this forum fits in with what you were asking for. :D

Glad to have you posting here Adal.

There is often an intensity in the questions that come up in the Abe Forum that frequently touches my heart, and I do take pleasure in offering input. And I have discovered those who are so earnestly looking for "help" are not really interested in all the variations on the theme that this or that other teacher has said on the subject. Many of them are very new to the whole idea of Deliberate Creating, and feel sort of "behind the curve" when the discussion goes on "down the rabbit hole" tangents.

Yeah, it sometimes IS "Abe 101," but we all had to start somewhere. For one thing, for many, many people ,that forum is a very brave step from repressive mainstream religion. Or it may the the first really positive thing that many beaten-down people have reached for.

Sometimes people from "The Secret" forum, many of whom have NEVER HEARD OF "create your own reality" but have reached for the lifeline that "The Secret" offers, (in the often superficial way they perceive the message) --- they are frustrated with blind leading the blind on that forum, IF they manage to find out about the "Abraham" part of "The Secret," they come to the AbeForum, and that is their launching-off point.

So, actually, once I decided not to rebel against the parameters of the forum, I got/get satisfaction in participating.

So it is wonderfun that we have this forum for expanding and lightening-up and doing the "life is supposed to be fun" thing!

Adal,

I think Patricia makes a VERY good point. Abetalk is a little more for those who have been mucking around in this idea for a while.

Like Alan Watts says, "After a while, you realize that YOU are IT... but you don't make a big deal of it, because IT likes to play it cool!"

It's difficult enough to wrap your mind around this Vendenta like philosophy, without entertaining the tangents that show up here!

I think it's good that there's a place where the thought is more focused, and that there's a place where people can get out and spin like a whirling dervish!
