View Full Version : Simple things that have been working for me

Hey All,

I wanted to share some simple things that are making me feel a lot better.

1) Drinking Lots of Water

I'm now drinking a lot more water than I ever used, coz I'm paying attention to my thirst and giving my body water whenever it asks. Cooling, soothing water, energized right after.

2) Bathing many times a day

Bashar was recently talking about the power of water, and how it helps make change easier. That caused me to go,hmm I always feel so soothed, renewed after a shower, what's preventing me from having more? So now i do, many times during the day, sometimes just water, no soap. Water dripping, oh so refreshing.

3) Paying attention to my own body language

When something is desirable, I see my body leaning toward it,my breathing becomes more excited, I see my hand reach for it - I started to pay attention to my own body language only a month or two back - makes sense eh.

4) Softening my focus and blinking

I noticed I was unconsciously staring hard all the time, simply softening my focus and allowing my natural blinking to happen, my eyes are smilin.

5) Touching myself more

Exploring my own body even as I'm doing other things say having a conversation, or typing this out - immediately makes me more present, and feels oh so nice.

6) Stretching

I stretch parts of my body more frequently now - I love feeling connected to my body

7) Placing my hand at the center of my chest and talking to myself

The hand on the heart chakra has got some magic to it, and hearing my own voice is something I enjoy and find effective, especially in doing affirmations

Joyously~

Beautifully put, Rewa.

Thanks for sharing this. Stretching = a great thing to do. Also, staring at oneself in the mirror frequently and saying I LOVE YOU is a wonderful, soul-enhancing thing to do.

Thanks Rewa!

ABOUT STRETCHING:
I read this book by Donna Eden. She is an energy healer. She was writing about the "joy circuits". Another name for them is radiant circuits first described some 4500 years ago in The Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine (China). Like the meridians, chakras, and aura, the radiant circuits are an independent energy system that serves to connect all the other energy systems in the body.

Anyway.... she says that one of the best ways to activate the joy circuits is by creating space in the body >>> stretching!

You can feel your vibration raising just from stretching........... yeah!

I gave myself some "I love you's" with the mirror now - very vibe raising, I feel light.
Thank you Stewart.

Stretching really does feel great, birds, cats they do it all the time.

Another thing that works for me:
Unclenching my jaw. It really feels better, and as a bonus with lips slightly parted my kissablity quotient rises, lol.

Ummmm....I love all things related to water.

It is in the mid-nineties here (in Philadelphia area) this weekend. I absolutely L  VE the heat!!! I am one of the happiest people on the earth right now rofl Everyone else is complaining about the hot weather and I am soaking up every second of it!

Anyway, my husband Raymond is one of eight kids. Two of them (one brother and one sister) each have an in-ground pool. This afternoon we are lucky enough to be able to go to his sister's house to use the pool. They won't even be home so we have the whole pool to ourselves! I can hardly wait!

We don't have an inground pool yet, (in my VE), however we have a large blow-up kiddie pool which I so love! I can happily sit in it all day. The nice thing is that because it is so small, the water warms up quickly.

The first year we lived here, I think our neighbors were thinking we were a little whacky. However, one of them has now bought their own kiddie pool and I see her sitting in it sometimes. Ha Ha!! So much fun :)

I've been meaning to get back to this thread since yesterday and express my appreciation and love for water. It is so very special to me. People think it is such mundane thing and they take it for granted... but it's really magical.

I started a couple of threads on TheAbeForum about water - rampages of appreciation. Ashvata is my water buddy - she loves it as much as I. It's fun to share my love of water with someone on the other side of the planet.

I love to sing in the shower too - you should try it. Singing with a joyful heart while the water is pouring down all over me - yep - that's heaven. And it is at least 68-seconds of pure bliss.

I am very interested in what Bashar has to say about water. Funny Abraham never talks about the essence of water. Rewa - do you have a link to where Bashar is talking about water? I would like to read/hear what he says.

Abraham talks about water too New Dawn:

Guest: Abraham what is the perfect food?

What is the perfect food? We would say there is not one, other than water. We encourage lots of that for all of you. Drink as much water as you can get into your body, and then eat anything else that feels good to you.

And here's the rest of this fabulous quote:

We would, for a little while, step away from the subject of food altogether in terms of trying to make anything happen. And we'd get as happy as we can relative to other aspects of our life, until we could feel that our cork is floating mostly about most things. And then we would say, "I'm going to befriend my body. I'm going to become a friend with my body. I'm going to make my body my friend." That is so essential: making your body your friend.

Most of you are afraid of your body. Your body feels like something that might trick you. It might get run over, or it might make the wrong decision, or it might die too early, or it might get a disease in it, or it might do something, after all, it has all kinds of mysteries. You can't look into your body. You can't see metabolism. You can't see what's happening with the cells. You don't really understand your body. And your body frightens you in most cases.

We would like to help you to know that your body is oh, so well meaning. Your body is so well orchestrated. You see, your body is trillions of cells that are vibrationally interacting with Source Energy. And if left to their own without a lot of static in your vibration, your body would only thrive. In other words, the basis of your body is one of true and utter thriving. It has no reason to frighten you. It is the greatest evidence of Well-being that exists anywhere in your physical experience. It is an extraordinary mechanism that's come together from great deliberate intent from so many Non-Physical and physical creators. And every one of you who stands in your body, continues to enhance the experience of the physical body. This is an evolution of a species that is extraordinary.

Your bodies are not to be feared. Your bodies are to be revered. Your bodies are to be applauded. Your bodies are to be maybe even amazed at. But they are never to be feared. Your bodies are not vulnerable. They're not fragile. They are resilient. They are flexible. You have the ability to come into alignment again and again and again, and if anyone in the Universe understands that, it's the cells of your body.

Befriending your body is the only way we know of coming to understand that your body is resilient and that it knows what to do, and that it will be whatever you ask it to be. But you have to ask it to be that in a place of nonresistance. It's the most significant information that we have ever expressed relative to your physical body and food. You must love your body, and then lovingly give it the food. And when you love your body and lovingly give it the food, it matters not what food you give it.

1. Believe in Your Self.

I watched Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. Molly tells Mr. Magorium she is stuck. She used to be a talented child pianist and composer, but as she grew-up, her talent stopped flowing. So to solve her problem, Mr. Magorium gives Molly a giant square block of wood (http://content6.flixster.com/question/44/77/10/4477108_std.jpg). He tells her it's a magical block of wood, and to activate its powers, you just have to believe in it.

Throughout the movie, Molly is unable to understand the significance of the block of wood. The block of wood sits around motionless the whole time. At the end of the movie, the mutant tells her "You are the block of wood. You stopped believing in yourself. You have magical powers that you can use, but you have to Believe in your self."

Thank you Rewa for those links! I LOVE LOVE LOVE what Bashar said about water. It explains so much! Here's my favorite part:

Water is the buffer between dimensions. The translator. The spinning particles taking the energy of one dimension and either slowing it down for the absorption and integration in a lower dimension or taking it from a lower dimension and speeding it up for the absorption and integration of a higher dimension. Water is the go-between. Water is the communicator. Water is the translator. Water is the transformer. If your body is dehydrated you cannot transform. The energy from one dimension to another passing through a dehydrated body will burn you out! Hydration is key.

And THANK YOU too Shari! I never heard Abraham emphasize water before - this is a great quote.

Reminds me of The Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End when the Black Pearl flips under the water and is teleported to the dimension of the dead.

Wow. Thank you for sharing this. This is so amazing I love it.
2) Bathing many times a day

That caused me to go,hmm I always feel so soothed, renewed after a shower, what's preventing me from having more? So now i do, many times during the day, sometimes just water, no soap. Water dripping, oh so refreshing.

I was just thinking about this when I was taking my shower this morning. There is something about water. I love it.

Since reading about stretching on the Sexuality thread in the Atlantis thread I have been doing more of that and it is amazing.

I am also more aware of the sexual energy in my body and when it comes up I revel in it and it is such an amazing sensual experience. I let my body go with it and it is so delightful to stretch and let it move and flow increasing in intensity and pleasure, the other day I was doing it while I was driving and it felt like I was making love to the Universe. I felt so energised and charged and in love with the whole world. It was such a wonderful high vibrating feeling place. I loved it.

What I love most about the things that you suggest Rewa is that they are such a delightful way for us to be more present in our bodies, to get out of our heads and become more aware of how we feel and how things around us feel. It is like fine tuning our Guidance System. I love that.

Thank you so much for sharing this, I'm going into raptures from the realisation that it is and it can be so simple. Just doing what comes naturally and feels sooooo good.

Hi Rewa!

Awesome post, thanks for sharing this!

In school I had to keep in constant contact with water, drinking it, washing my face -
I thought I was related to some fish.

Lol, I've been wondering that too. "Am I turning into a seal or dolphin?"
There's this huge fountain downtown and one of these days I'll make the news when I start doing dolphin tricks in it. Everytime I pass by I feel the urge of just dive right in!!!

I can notice how much I have changed in terms of using water since I have been aligning myself, with my Self, more and more. I awakened that "water conciousness".
I find myself showering for ages. Absolutely enjoying the feeling of water streaming down my body! I've been drinking heaps too.

Hey sweets, I've received a telepathic message from New Dawn to check out this thread 8-) I've been aware of this thread and I've been meaning to join you, so here I am.

I like this thread very much, its a good thing to share what works for us. Different things for different people, but its always good to learn something more.

For me it works to:

1. STRETCH - it really does feel like activating joy cricuits. I keep aahh-ing and wow-ing and sighing with pleasure while strEtching - one of my favourite things to do.

2. DRINK LOTS OF WATER - I carry a bottle of water with me wherever I go (half a liter). Friends sometimes smile at the 'bloop bloop' sound coming from my lady-bag, and they know they can always count on me for a sip of water. (I love what Bashar and Abe say on water. Can you imagine me translating Abe books and drinking water - double translation lol :rabbit: )

3. GO FOR WALKS IN THE NATURE - every day - it's my favourite kind of meditation - i can always find something new to marvel at, and discover my own connection with nature and the stillness in me.

4. DELIBERATELY PRACTICE FEELING VIBRATION OF THINGS - this is something I've started doing recently, after a pretty big contrast that made me hear/feel my intuition much more clearly and subtly: what I do is focus (sometimes wiht my eyes closed) on a person in front of me, or plant or tree or an ant, bird, dog, friend, anything, and feel their vibration. It's very exciting, a whole new world. Deepens your intuition.

4. SATISFY MY DESIRE FOR A NEW TASTE (and other things that make my body feel good) - all of my senses are very well developed, I can hear very well, see very well, feel very well, taste and smell - the last two are especially fun to satisfy - I keep tasting new foods and drinks and never stay at the same old stuff. Gotto enjoy being physical.

5. JUST KEEP BEING CREATIVE IN ANY WAY I CAN THINK OF, like in cooking, painting, photography, dancing, lovemaking.......you name it :)

Isn't it cool to be physical and have an Inner Being XD WHOOOW! I love this game!

THERE IS GREAT FUN HERE FOR YOU,

Natasha :D

THIS IS SOOO WONDERFUL ESS!AND TREES ARE VERY SPECIAL TO ME AS WELL!!
ONCE I ASK PINE TREES (SOME SAY THE HIGHEST EVOLVED OF THE TREE KINGDOM) IF THEY WOULD HELP ME WITH MY ENEREGY LEVEL...
IT WAS WINTER AND I WAS OUT SHOVELING SNOW..
I HAD HEARD THAT THE AMERICAN INDIANS WOULD ASK THE PINE TREES FOR AN ENERGY EXCHANGE BY PUTTING THEIR SPINES UP AGAINST THE TREE TRUNK..
SO I TALKED TO THIS TREE AND ASK FOR SOME ENERGY IF IT WOULD NOT HURT THE TREE, AS I WAS VERY TIRED AND COULD NOT CONTINUE TO SHOVEL SNOW (I FELT ALMOST SICK).....
I GENTLY HUGGED THE TREE BELLY TO BELLY FIRST AND THEN ALIGNED MY BACK SPINE TO THE TRUNK AND........AND IT WORKED!!!!! AND THEN I CONTINUED TO SHOVEL WITH AN AMAZING AMOUNT OF ENERGY...
I LOVE TREES     (I SOUND LIKE SARAH BOOK 2 NOW!! rofl rofl rofl )

On the subject of food...when I am hungry I have started letting my body tell me what it wants, what makes me feel awesome, from chip and dip, to a box of Mac and Cheese, to a whole bag of baby carrots - I eat what I feel like eating. And because I eat from a place of feeling good, my body has never been in better shape. I listen to my body, what it wants and my finally no longer feeling guilt that doctors say this or that isn't healthy, I am healthy.

All it took was a brief shift of vibration.

Thanks so much for the link to St. Germaine on water. It was beautiful. And, since it was very short, and I loved it, I transcribed it:

"You may create holy water for you are holy beings. Connect to the light within you…place the intent:

I bless this water. The light within me blesses this water. The love within me blesses this water. That which is God/Goddess blesses this water through me…for I am holy…and I am one with that. And I place this intent...that all which this water touches, it blesses.

And then you put a drop in the toilet and you flush it and let it travel. And drink some and share some."
