View Full Version : Pressure in Heart Chakra When Meditating

Hey guys,

I'm really loving Seth Speaks by Jane Roberts, lately. Great channeling book.

One of the meditations Seth suggests is focusing on your inner senses instead of your outer. You focus on your inner sight, inner hearing, inner touch, and you actually stop feeling the physical world. It's kinda trippy, and you feel yourself become formless.

When I do this, I feel a LOT of pressure in my chest, or heart chakra, depending on your point of view. I've tried stretching my chest during it, or visualizing it opening up, but I can't relieve the pressure unless I stop the meditation exercise, and even after it feels kinda swollen.

I think there's something in my heart chakra that needs to be released. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

Hi Dan,
Don't worry about the pressure, allow it.
And don't be disturbed, but allow and be a little time with your silent hearth, with this what you wasn't expected, ( allow unexpected ) give ti as much time as it needs. I mean allow it until there is need for that. You will get clear eventually.

Sorry - no experience with something like that. Although I have felt uncomfortable body sensations while meditating... but not so intense as what you describe.

Have you tried breathing into it?

Another idea - just be "ok" with the pressure. Just allow it. Allow it to be there. Maybe your acceptance and awareness of it - without pushing against it - is what it wants.
