Yes, and no. That quote is used in a specific context.

You know how when you find something and you become all excited about it? Like a song, or a movie, or a spiritual concept. And then you share it with other people, and no one mirrors that level of excitement with you. Well, that song/movie/teaching was created especially for you. It is a Gift To You from the universe, created especially for you. It is not to be given to anyone else, because it was made only for you.

So the quote says, don't give away that gift. But instead, express how good it allowed you to feel. And then others can benefit from resonating in that energy of yours.
