Today I am going to withdraw from one of my classes. I have never done so before. The consequences are few (just that I'll have to take some extra credits next semester). The class I can take in place of it will be better, I am told.

I would just like to feel more ease about my decision. Abraham always says it's better not to "quit" something and instead to write lists of positive aspects, etc. That's the only sticky point.

Thanks,

Dana

That's how you feel, don't you? So, do it. It's what you're feeling is right for you, and you can never do it wrong. YAY!!

Yeah, you know what, screw Abraham (or what I think Abraham thinks)!!!

Wooohooo go selfish, lazy me!!!

Yeah! I am happy about it!

My Inner Being's all like: "enjoy your free Monday nights off, and free parts of Tuesdays and Thursdays!!!!"

The alternate class I'll be taking (the other class I can take to fulfill the same requirement) has no writing requirement, and is less intense! Why take this boring, hard, intensive class? I thought it would be interesting, and for some people it might be (??), but not for me!

And plus now that means I get to relax more!!!! And have fun more!!! And do more fun, good-feeling things!! And play the prosperity game during the time I'd be at the Tuesday and Thursday classes!

haaha, I am lining up with it more and more! Go selfish me!!! GO me!!! I am making my life easy and fun!

Thanks, Ashvata, I love your replies   And thanks me, for doing what is good for me, and feels good for me, and feels easy and relaxing, and thanks Universe for allowing me to take this good-feeling, lucky feeling, path which I am lining up with more and more.

Abe says it doesn't really matter what you choose, you just have to make a decision and line up with it. Choose what feels best for you and then be happy with your decision. That's all there is to it.

YES! This is actually their whole point - to become independent, to trust YOUR own guidance and not be a follower, whether it is a wonderful spiritual teacher/s or anyone else.

FOLLOW YOU! :)

hoot-hoot Leah.

I'm intrigued that you call yourself selfish and lazy for choosing what feels better. How is this selfish? Who would be inconvenienced by it? And lazy... pffft. You've taken the trouble to identify a feeling of unease, to figure out the consequences, to post on Abetalk about it, and to align with a new decision. Lazy is ignoring your inner promptings and trudging on to who knows where. When did Abraham ever say we should continue on an upstream path when downstream is available?
