So, I usually browse the forum by the "New Posts" option. But sometimes fizzy gets in the way and I can only stay on a little while at a time. The next time I get on all the "New Posts" are often old posts. I may have 2 pages of "New Posts" and I rush off to this or that (inspired action, of course ), and all the "New Posts" are old posts. Is there a way to not lose the "New Posts" status, if I don't actually open the "New Posts?"

Or can I just assume that if I don't open it, it's not any of my business???

Exactly. If it's not powerful enough to pull you in, it's not that important.

And also, see: Today's Posts (http://abetalk.com/search.php?do=getdaily) (Quick Links > Today's Posts). That will show you the posts you missed the first time around.
