We always talk about money. How to make it, how to win it, how to manifest it.

I have had something of an epiphany.XD It's been a MASSIVE paradigm shift for me & I just gotta share. I started this line of thought on the "Money Is Love" thread, but it just did not fit in there. I can see that my perspective is rather divergent from most, but what I've EXPERIENCED lately indicates (to me, anyway) that I might just be on to something here:

Money is energy. Trying to manifest it is kinda pointless. You wouldn't try to manifest energy just to have in case someday you might wanna take a jog.

The U does provide - EVERY TIME. You will always get what you desire, but have you ever considered that desiring money just for the sake of having it is ineffective?

Maybe it's not an understanding of manifestation that is needed, but an understanding of the true nature of currency.In the past 2 weeks, I have been given a very nice furnished 3 bedroom home, all utilities/taxes/even cell phone paid. I have been given a car - insurance paid. I have been given several very generous cash gifts.

I won't even estimate the monetary value publicly. Let's just say it's kinda a big deal.

Did I win the lottery? Nope.
Did I sweep the casino? Nope.
My only methodology was to TRUST that ALL IS WELL.

Yesterday, the mailman came to my door with an express envelope for which I had to sign. He asked for me by my maiden name. I signed & had the thing ripped open before I was even fully back in the house. WTF? Very few people even know I'm here.

In the envelope was a gift card to a big box store. It was for a SUBSTANTIAL amount. I looked at it trying to decide if my eyes were fooling me & burst into tears. Who would do such a thing?

The envelope was addressed to me (in my maiden name) FROM ME. The card was physically purchased in a store in a state I have never been to & where I know absolutely no one. It was payed for with another gift card(s). Great lengths were gone to in order to keep the sender of this gift anonymous.

The only message enclosed in the package was a bible verse written on the return address as well as the receipt. Isaiah 51:10.

Recently, I heard Bill Ryan say, "You don't get rich by hanging onto your money in the same way that you don't live forever by holding your breath."

Last week, I gave away some money to some people I care about. Within 4 days, I got back exactly triple that amount.

Money is energy. It is physical (cash) & non-physical (electric). Breathe is in, breathe it out. Easy come, easy go. I have been materially wealthy & I have been one broke biatch.XD I can pinpoint EXACTLY how & why I have been both.

There's more to this that I'll add later, but for now I'm getting dangerously close to a Skibby-length post....:facelol:

Specifics:

I had an idea of wealthy. We all do. There was a list of things I was quite sure I needed. I needed a Rolex, a BMW, a country club membership, exclusive private schools for the children, a personal assistant, good art & custom furniture to fill my upper-middle-class home, blah blah ad nauseum.

None of it made me happy.

The need for these things also carried a certain amount of fear. In using them to define myself, I had to maintain control over aspects of my life that made me very uncomfortable. It's a lot of work to be the Jones'.

Sometimes we truly don't understand ourselves enough to know what we want.

What I REALLY wanted - I came to understand - was a life of magic, unfettered & miraculous, where amazing, mind-blowing events occur. I wanted out of a miracle-crushing relationship. I wanted to raise my children to be freedom seeking deliberate creators.

I denied it, but I continued to vibrate it.

Enter the economy. Enter housing crisis. Enter bursting bubbles, falling stocks, collapsing banks & clients. All these were the disguises the U wore while kicking out of my comfortably uncomfortable nest. Throughout all of it, I smiled. I knew the U was getting me my way.

I watched all of it with detached amusement & declared that it was time for an adventure, because we were rapidly approaching the point of *nothing to lose.*

Then, just at the point where I might have lost faith & stayed in the miracle-crushing relationship, a string of events unfolded that taught me that I will NEVER doubt again.

And that takes the reader back to my original post.

it is easier to get what we desire if we focus on that end point = i.e. what we want the cash for...i.e. a house , a car, a trip etc. verses just the money :)..I agree with you !!!!.
There are so many more ways for the Universe to get that house to you than the money!..through the crack of least resistance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to look up that verse:

The entire stanza actually has so much symbolism for me that it's down-right scary:

Sometimes we know what we want in our heart of hearts but we dont know the way there.. especially when what we want means we have to give up our comfortable but less satisfying reality. We make peace with it for a while and then life moves us exactly where we need to be to remember what we need to remember to be truly happy and inspired. If we got everything we wanted all the time, I think it would be really boring. There is so much fun in being creative in THIS moment and finding ways to be happy anyways.. and basking in all that is already beautiful and wonderful about our life. It never stays the same. I have had to learn this. I want to much to be independent, I want inner peace, I want to be love.. sometimes the *things* I think I want are cross purpose to my deepest, truest desires. And life always moves us to who we really want to become.. or to remembering who we ARE.

Anyways, it isnt all about getting everything you think you want, its about remembering who you are and having FUNNNNN

Suffering is not our natural state but sometimes its just the kick in the butt we need to move us along on our eternal evolutionary path :D

Exactly! In the mid-nineties, when I was studying Science of Mind (Church of Religious Science) everyone around me was busy trying to manifest "stuff". And I got all twisted up cause their system was making me go upstream and besides, I didn't really know what I wanted. So it was kinda embarrassing. :confused:

So I snuck off by myself and made up by own "system". And key to my system was realizing that the Universe would know better than me what would make me happy.

So I let go of trying to "manifest" anything, and dropped my SOM classes and practiced my own simple system - and immediately felt better. Which is the FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT manifestation.

Money is just a side effect, but a very nice one. ;)

Dear Centre of Gravity, aren't you living a wonderful adventure?

I guess we always should refer back to the 'essence' of what we want. Screw the material crap. Why do most of us spend our time craving for the 'stuff' when, if we let go, we'd get something much, much, much better than that, stuff included? A lesson to be learned, for me anyway.

I am pretty happy with my Now, but when I reflect back on some of my happiest episodes, I always go back to when I first moved here. I had no-thing. Literally. No bed, no chairs, no cuttlery, no dining table. I moved with 2 bags full of clothes and no money. During those times, I met some of my (still) best friends. I could write books about our adventures and the wonderful experiences we had in this (then) foreing country. It wasn't a fake happiness. And it also wasn't the kind of happiness that I can see now, cuz it was hard back then. - No. I was happy right there and then. I was mesmerized by how much "Universe" there was for me to discover.

I'm loving your unfolding. It reminds me that the things that move me the most are adventure, harmony, aliveness freedom and love. Yumm-o

Yeah, I've been playing my version (http://abetalk.com/showthread.php?t=3844) of the prosperity game and manifesting stuff pretty miraculously (http://abetalk.com/showthread.php?t=4138), and my mom is all like, "you should start manifesting some money" and I said, no, that feels lackful to me!

Or at least, she was coming at it from a place of lack, and if I tried to go about manifesting wealth in such a direct way, it would have felt upstream to me.

So instead I just play my game as I do, for fun!, and if the universe wants to delivery to me my stuff, even better-- whether through money, or opportunities (getting my free 5-star meal exactly as I had dreamed it, and manifesting three free vases of fresh flowers just as i had "bought" them for my game, etc.).

Sometimes the money itself is the *how* that we all get so hung up on. In the end (or beginning, in my case) the cash didn't matter. I have been furnished with everything I need for a whole new life and more for added comfort & freedom without all the pesky transactions.XD

Adalito, corazón, the "money is love" comes from knowing that you are it, that you are not separate from money. And if you are love, then money is love as well. ;) (well, at least that is what it means to me haha XD )

But it is our beliefs that get in the way of things... so yea, in that respect it is better to not focus on money per se but on the feeling of the experience that is desired.

Adal - I'm certainly not claiming that a future aspect of myself sent me this money. I simply telling what was on the envelope. There are many people who know my pre-marriage name, but not many who'd use it. There are only a handful of people who know my address at this point or even that I've moved. Of the people who know this stuff, even fewer know of my affinity for dragons or my thoeries about the "old ways becoming new." And none of them have been anywhere NEAR the place where the card was purchased - especially not on this past Thursday.

I love your story Cigi! Woo hoo! All is well.

I see reflections of abundance in what is happening around me, as me happening in the form of synchronicity. So much beauty, nature showing abundance, the abundance of giving from others whether love or appreciation, the U showing love for me as it by giving me all these manifestations. I am shown how abundant the U is and how it is conspiring for me all the time. It is just stunning and amazing and occurs when I am in the flow. It is way beyond manifesting a thing like you say. It is about being a vibe and flowing in that vibe as who you really are, seeing what unfolds and being amazed and amazed again by what/who shows up as a reflection of the love you are.

Money is the primitive thing, and soon we will shift to a new economy where we will get what we want like Cigi does just from being ourselves. We are evolving beyond money. And we are moving into complete freedom to do what we want, total creativity. In the being who we are we serve others but not because we try, but from a place of wholeness, fullfilling our purpose as source expressing itself.

What's beautiful for me is the recognition that in the new world economy it will not be based on consumption of goods and depletion of resources, but rather it will be based on an energy that is increased the more it is given and shared....like love, like what is happening here on abetalk. The receiving and giving just multiples the energy.....creating more, abundant, generous, more than enough for everyone, like air.

I think currency will continue to be a part of existence. Currency AND Creativity.

I also think that so many of us are breaking away from the inherited programming that makes us believe that money is definitive of the physical existence. Traditionally, we have believed that money buys freedom, but I for one, am coming to an understanding that I am inherently free & by simply living my life under that pretext, I am provided with exactly what I need and more.

It could be cash or it could be stuff, but when you add it up it equals abundance.

My Sis-n-law & I had a discussion a couple of nights ago. She, like so many new LoAers, has set her sights on the lottery (not that there's anything wrong with that). She has placed her order with the U for a specific windfall. Throughout our conversations as of late she has mentioned that she needs to make a withdrawal from the Universal Bank.

In my view, she is already making withdrawals & I told her as much. She was recently given a house too. I furnished & decorated it with things from my ex-home.XD The owner put in new appliances, etc. Still she focused on that big jackpot amount. By doing so, she wasn't even noticing the significant gifts that were flowing her way. She was still focused on the big prize.

So where does the magic come in?

It never does, unless you can SEE it. When we added up what she had been given, it worked out to a couple hundred thousand dollars. That's nothing to sneeze at!!:shock: If she had won a smaller jackpot of say $200K, she would have immediately recognized the immense manifestation, but because it came in an unexpected form, it sailed right past her magic radar UN-noticed.

So I ask you all (quoting Daddy), What ships will you see today?

She was recently given a house too. I furnished & decorated it with things from my ex-home.XD The owner put in new appliances, etc. Still she focused on that big jackpot amount. By doing so, she wasn't even noticing the significant gifts that were flowing her way. She was still focused on the big prize.

So where does the magic come in?

Our society teaches to look for the dollar signs, yet, like your story....she was given so many gifts of abundance, but she could not see them.

This makes me think of Abe words on spaceships, it is all vibration, the first step to being able to 'see' a spaceship is to believe they exist.

Your thread is so helpful in getting us into a position to 'see' abundance and freedom in a different light. I personally love the idea that you mailed you the gift from a future or parallel life. That is a total new thought to me, and it feels YUmMY!!!

I always think of how much we love to give gifts to our children, it feels so wonderful to see them bounce with happiness. We feel so high, can you imagine how HIGH the U feels giving us gifts???
