This is a reply I wrote for someone that asked me a specific question about their experience. And while I was writing it, I realized the answer to a question I had asked about a week ago. I was going to ask Abraham, but I found it myself.
When you experience contrast, you immediately shoot out a rocket of desire. And this does two things: 1. throws what you are asking for in your vibrational escrow, and 2. speeds up the closing of the gap between Physical You and Virtual You.
My question was - Why is it that, when you shoot out a rocket of desire, you say that this is speeding up the closing of the gap?
And the answer follows...
> "I still don't speak with my parents. I feel relieved to know it was my creation, because now I know that I have the power to have a fabulous life. And now I leave blame and anger behind, and stories of how it had nothing to do with me."
We came into the physical bodies to benefit from the leading-edge perspective. The best feeling of life comes from - experiencing the contrast, and aligning; experiencing the contrast, and aligning; experiencing the contrast, and aligning. Because when you experience the contrast, you throw New Life energy into your vibrational escrow. And then, when you align with your vibrational escrow, the stream of well-being flows all that New Life to you.
You see, it is the contrast which gives Birth to New Life energy. And what we are wanting is to experience that life energy - the life energy feeds us, there's nothing more delicious than allowing it in. We are always wanting to experience this growth that comes from new experiences.
And so, as a child, you amassed a huge vibrational escrow from all this contrast you experienced. And, the reason some children have a bumpier childhood than others, it's because they wanted to benefit early on in their life from their vibrational escrow. I had a bumpy childhood too, and that's how I have such clarity at my age (today I'm 22).
Because you're experiencing the contrast, it causes you to shoot out a rocket of desire, your vibrational escrow expands. And now the gap between Physical You and Virtual You is bigger. And so, if you don't close the gap, and as children most of us can't as we are 'stuck' in this environment until we move out from home. You see, your parents won't let you relax until you agree with them, until you are "obedient". And so, as you don't close the gap, you experience the contrast of not moving forth. So, you shoot out another rocket of desire, and your vibrational escrow expands again.
And with each experience of contrast, you expand your vibrational escrow, the gap between Physical You and Virtual You expands, but you're not going!
And as you're not going, you're feeling the discomfort of being away from your stream of well-being. Nothing is more important for you than to allow that stream to flow, and to experience that Life Energy. And as you are not experiencing it, as you feel the discomfort of being far from the vicinity of your expanded self, you feel yourself dying. But, you are a part of All-That-Is, and you want to live; and so, you do Whatever It Takes to close that gap. And the larger the gap, the more you are driven to close it.
And so, there is no reason to feel anger or blame for parents. Because we knew there would be contrast before we came into our physical bodies, and we did it anyway. And we knew we would benefit from that contrast, it would allow us to experience new life. And so, knowing what you now know, you can appreciate the experience your parents gave you. Because of them, you amassed a huge vibrational escrow, which you couldn't have amassed if you came into the physical experience for just a gentle ride on the merry-go-round.
Not everyone came here for a gentle ride on the merry-go-round. Some people came here to experience the wicked roller-coasters. Because coming in, we knew it was only a ride, we knew we are always safe. If we get lost, we have our emotional guidance system that will guide us home. And if don't know how to use our guidance system, we can just croak, and be right back where we started, but with all that new life that we amassed in our vibrational escrow.
And so, we can't get it wrong. And wherever we are, it's always a good place to be.
And the only reason you would continue to blame your parents, knowing all this, is if you've been having trouble tapping into your vibrational escrow. You say, "Ah, vibrational escrow? I can't see it, I'm not having any of it, My life still sucks! I experienced all that contrast for Nothing!"
But it's there, and it's done. And all you ever have to do is connect to your stream of well-being, and all of that New Life Energy will flow right to you. Just allow the stream of well-being to flow, and don't use resistant thoughts to block that connection.
And one day, you will be reaping the benefits of this huge vibrational escrow, and you will say, "Well, hello! I remember you! I put you in here when I was 3. It's nice to see you again. Ah, it is so nice to have you with me. Your presence is Most Fulfilling. You breath me with life, I feel clear and awake, and you taste so delicious. And going through that contrast? It was SO WORTH IT."
> "I feel a bit of fear as I go. How do you work with the Vortex to tell new stories about fear? My fear says: I am all alone in my knowing, and perhaps a little strange."
You just get into your vortex, allow that stream of well-being to flow, and the fear will be replaced by knowing, clarity, and love.
And if it keeps coming up, it's because you are right now in a Temporary Transitional Experience. You are seeing your Physical Reality, but you are feeling and thinking your Virtual Reality. And so, there is a little bumpiness as the Physical Reality that was created with your old limiting thoughts, is replaced by the Virtual Reality of your new allowing thoughts.
So, reach for thoughts that will give you relief in the moment.
"This is a temporary experience. I know I'm transitioning from my old beliefs to my new beliefs. And as I allow this better connection to my stream of well-being, I will see everything that's lined up in my vibrational escrow as it starts showing up. And soon, I will clear these rapids, and I will be Smooth Sailing on The Open Seas...
