It's like dirt on the porch: Every day we have to sweep it off. But it is better to get in the habit of sweeping it off than piling it on by default.

We pile it on by default when we are not making our number 1 priority to remain in the vortex. We pile it on when we look at where we are skidding to rather than look at where we want to go.

Possessed by the Spirit of Key... and authorized by somebody's post about a white sock last year... I had to ask:

why is there dirt on the porch?

why do we have to sweep it?

isn't it kinda pointless?

SKibby, dahlin, you got cought in my web of thought! :smart:

Sweeping the porch is focussing on the helpful habits and gradually forgetting to practise the "bad" ones.

I was talkin about dirt, like, literally. But I guess you responded to my vibration! XDCLEARLY!

Why are we playing this particular game? Because none of the others caught our fancy at the time we chose to play in this one.

Explain, please?

I DON'T sweep it! Cleaning's a peculiarly feminine infliction

I don't like sweeping either, I barely ever do! The feminine comment... that's can easily be considered male chauvinism, Alex... I think I understand Paula now! :p

Skibby, it's so much fun to read your nonesense! :D

But I don't think he's gay, why do men love to call each other gay so much anyway? Being a homosexual is a completely valid choice... it's like making fun of somebody because they like tomatoes! and we know Alex really doesn't like tomatoes... he likes cucumber! :facelol: sorry, Alex, it's just funny to say stupid things!! Because they are stupid, not because they are true! XD

Well back to the sweepin, there's LOTS of realities out there, aren't they? And why do you think women ''care'' about cleaning, because they are taught to! it's a stupid thing that mothers teach women and fathers don't teach men... it's another nonesense! I don't like cleaning, I do it maybe once a month...
and I want somebody to tell me, IT'S OKAY! :p

just what is so funny about the gay thing?

why do men call each other GAY like it's an insult??

If men are scared and anxious they are usually are even more scared being found out, so they act super cool and call each other... "dude, are you gay or what...". Yeah, that's so cool.

I think it can be fun at any age as long as you take it lightly and not personal... take it as what it is... a playful silly attitude... a bunch of words written... like ripples in the water... you are the water, and you can never be changed, or destroyed... words mean what the person intends them to mean or what you take them as... words are like balloons... watch them fly away... anyway, I still understand you feel uncomfortable, cuz it's easy to say this when it doesn't happen to me! :p I admit!

Skibby! Oh God, yes, so much for the IGNORE LIST! It's like he never got the Abe thing: when you focus on something you like, you include it, when you focus on something you don't like, you include it! There is no exclusion! There is no ignore button! He was all about how you were in his ignore list, and it worked so well that he had to freakin leave the forum! Anyway... that is over. Or are we gonna talk about it for weeks like we did all the leavers? LOL all the QUITTERS! So much for winners never QUIT! :D we live in such a contradictory world... what can we do but laugh?

Leah!! :joylick: You cracked me up! Yes, I sound like a CLEAN FREAK! Now that YOU said it, it sounds like it's not true, but I DO wait until I forget what COLOR the floor is!! I LOVE the satisfaction of cleaning when it's SO FILTHY! It's like the MORE contrast, the better! :D or else how can you REALLY appreciate a clean environment when it has been clean all along? you can't! that's why you need TO WAIT, WAIT 'till it REALLY NEEDS to be cleaned! XD

Well I used to date this guy who's house was GARBAGE WORLD. I do throw the garbage to the trash bin, I just don't clean. This guy's place was borderline inhospitable... we slept surrounded by sheets of paper, empty boxes and wraps, on the bedroom floor, on the desks and tables. He would loose his medication all the time, he couldn't find his glasses, the bathroom was full of germs, I was just glad to leave that place and go to MY house where it was moderately dirty. It's very very personal, like, there's a limit for me. I like knowing WHERE my stuff is, but I don't care if there's dirt all over, I just clean when I feel truly inspired to.

^^ hi fi Leah! :rainman:

(*coff* hi fi emoticon here please?)
