I know there are not many on this forum who are trying to release excess weight, but I just have to share the most amazing, simple, and Abe-like technique I have ever seen! Even if this is not of benefit to you, you may know of someone it can help.
Since discovering Abraham and friends over a year ago, I have been looking for some method that I could line up with to help me release a good portion of weight. I have revisited various "diets" such as Atkins, Suzanne Somers, the water diet, yada, yada, yada. Though the first few days would go reasonably well, all-in-all the entire process and even the mere thought of "another diet" was very upstream for me. I had usually forsaken the new eating plan by the end of the first week with nothing to show for my efforts.
A little over a week ago, while surfing the net looking for EFT related stuff, I discovered Paul McKenna. He is hugely popular in the UK and is just gaining recognition here in the States. Apparently, he had some television series on TLC back around March and April. I think it was about 6 weekly episodes and I believe the name of it was "I Can Make You Thin." I did not see any of these but in reading about it on various forums, Paul introduced untraditional methods such as EFT and mass hypnosis to help the studio audience and the television audience lose weight over the course of six weeks.
I got a ton of information (including a nifty hypnosis download) from his website and ordered his book which arrived in just a couple of days. The main thing that makes his method unique, is that NO food is off-limits (very downstream for me  ). And he has only four "golden rules" for eating:
1. When you are hungry, EAT
2. EAT WHAT YOU WANT, not what you think you should
3. Eat CONSCIOUSLY, and enjoy every mouthful
4. When you think you are full, STOP eating
What an amazing concept! For anyone who easily maintains their ideal weight, this may not seem like a big deal, but for me, it is huge and is so liberating!
In his book, he talks about the importance of loving yourself and seeing yourself through the eyes of Source (though he words this differently). He also talks about (in his own words) the importance of not beating the same old drum and telling a new story.
Anyway, since discovering his method eight days ago, I have applied the four "golden rules" and listened to the free download each nite when going to bed. As of today, I have released 5 1/2 pounds!!!
I hope this will benefit others here as well
