It would be cool if we could have some kind of scheduled conference call on Skype, say once a week. And then we could all just talk talk talk! Maybe we'd want some kind of topic or someone to lead the call to keep it organized so we don't have like 5-10 people blabbing all at once. But I bet it would be fun :)

I like the idea Alex. This would be a lot of fun.And with a little piece of software Skype can be easily configured to record these sessions too, so its available for people later too.

To prevent multiple people from going on - we could have a system of letting the the host know with a word of text chat, and then hir inviting us on.

It's funny too. I'm developing the habit of carrying on conversations with my sweetie in which we talk about the future, as we want it, as if it were already here. It's a new thing for me to speak it out loud, but it's such fun.

One of the things we discussed a few nights ago (the night before I found this forum, actually), how utterly delighted I was at the new group of Abers I'd found who got together once or twice a week to discuss LoA over Skype, and how intoxicating it was to have that beautiful exchange.

My beautiful co-creator had said, "That's awesome, Jess! You know, if ya'll are doing group discussions, you might want to consider using Ventrilo. It's more suited to having multiple people talking at once." And I'd grinned and said, "Yeah, but see, most of them don't have Ventrilo. Most of them already have Skype and use it, so that's why we use Skype, so everyone can attend with no fuss."

I love you guys. You're such a blessing. I can't wait for the first group chat.

H'okay, I've requested and/or added everybody voluntarily listed so far. Man, this is exciting!

So, if we did want to do this thing, a group chat, would we want to go with a weekly schedule, like Alex said? I'm totally down with that, but I'd love to hear some feedback from ya'll, see how that fits for everyone.

Also, any nights in particular work best for ya'll?

Seems like if we could maybe try a ballpark timeframe of an hour's worth to start with, it would give us an opportunity to settle in, get comfortable, have enough time to chat a bit without cutting too much into the real world? How does that sound?

I used to be in another group, a few months ago, that met once a week for Abraham discussion, but I ended up letting go of it as things were a little disjointed and disorganized, and oftentimes the discussion would keep circling around to very specific elements that happened to be a favorite of the moderator. Just before I left, I'd started getting brave enough to suggest possible topics, even group led activities (various visualization exercises designed to assist in lining up with your desires to enable your VE to move closer into manifestation, what-if exercises to relieve stress in problem areas, taking "I don't want" situations and using them to define "I do want" outcomes, etc). I pretty well decided that it wasn't my pie, though. I had enough going on in my life at the time.

Alex, I'm right there with you, everything you said. This sounds so exciting!
