I would like to know: is there any purpose to "life"?

From what I know, I think it's not very kind to expect anything at all from physical life. I must say I feel guilty thinking "ok, what is, is not good enough" and wanting something from life. Which means, what I'm getting is not ok. And that's a terrible thought, I must say.

Do you think there is any purpose at all? Or does life flows the best without any purpose or hidden motives and wantings. Enjoying the journey..
I would like to know what your experience on this topic is.

Timo

I was asking similar question on this thread (http://theabeforum.com/forum2/4454-3.html) (bottom of page 2 and page 3). Yeslist thinks that through our experience here, we are adding to the expansion of all-that-is. Abraham communicates a similar viewpoint in this quote. There seems to be a creative relationship between the non-physical being and the physical being - where both of us play a role.

Thought that is projected, now thinks. So it's not possible to separate the thinker from the thought, because the thinker thinks a thought, and then the thought thinks and becomes a thinker, and then the thought, that was a thought that is now a thinker, thinks another thought, which becomes a thinker, also. And so, there is a constant summoning of Life Force. Now, a thought that is thought longer becomes Thought Form. A thought that is thought upon by many, becomes Thought Form. A thought that is thought upon by many, in a very clear undiluted fashion, as from Nonphysical Perspective where there is no resistance, becomes physical matter. That's why the physical universe is a by-product of the Nonphysical attention or focus. So, the Nonphysical Energy that created this physical mass from the Energy of the Universe, the mass itself, now becomes a thought that is thinking, that is attracting the Energy.

Excerpted from the workshop in Los Angeles, CA, on Sunday, August 2nd, 1998 Personally, I think there is no purpose. This is all - a virtual reality; a game; a movie/play; a dream. One day, you wake up, and you say - ah, that was a fun dream. Or, the curtain closes, and all the actors get together to party. "Boy, did I ever get right into it! It felt so real. I can't believe at one point I actually thought it was serious!"

And with that, I remind you:

Life is for entertainment purposes only

The purpose of life is to be HAPPY! :) And we do that by directing how we choose to focus our thoughts in life, and focusing only on thoughts that make us feel good.

So whether it's petting the cat, enjoying our time at our job, or getting gangsta, as long as we're happy doing whatever it is we're doing, we're living on purpose!

Personally I feel or have always felt that my presence is important and that my purpose is to make the world better

such a great question to contemplate. I think we have to start viewing so called "physical matter" no different from "non-physical". It is all vibration and their is a sense of solidity because that is how we interpret the vibe.

In other words, it's all Real but the solidity is an illusion. There is no Reality other than that which is interpreted and perceived. I only say this because of the personal experience of knowing myself as the Source and immediately experiencing a "physical" shift in manifestation. When you ask it really is given instantly and that is how Source experiences Reality.

Now how does this relate back to purpose?? To me, when you are perfectly aligned or one with You/ Source, your purpose is to exude the leading edge of beauty and elegance. The true definition of elegance is the achievement of the highest potential with the least amount of energy.

So I think our purpose is to constantly redefine what would be better and more efficient and have fun in doing so. You reach the crux where you look around at all this "stuff" and the only logical reason that any of it exists is for the fun of it. Although, that logical reason seems completely illogical to the disconnected human perspective.

So you can go round in circles out of the vortex looking for a reason and purpose for being here, but once you get aligned you LOL because it's all a huge game and everything you push against and think is wrong, you end up loving because it is the reason for who You are until you decide to be something different. :joylick:

Adal, your post reminds me of the quote from Goethe which goes like "The purpose of life is life itself."

The purpose of life is to live! The rest is insignificant.
