Something to ponder on....

YouTube- Why there is no cause and effect?

YouTube- Why are spiritual experiences part of the illusion?

YouTube- Is the Absolute beyond consciousness?

Stephen Wolinsky PhD, eh?

First I had to get past the fact that he looks like Roddy McDowell on Planet of the Apes. :facelol: (Sorry that was terribly shallow but I couldn't help myself.)

Then I decided to listen. What he says is interesting although hard to wrap my mind around - maybe that's the point - can't get my mind around it.

That last video reminded me of this beautiful quote. Maybe you've heard it before?

When I look inside and see that I'm nothing, that's wisdom.
When I look outside and see that I'm everything, that's love.
And between these two, my life turns.

Absolutely deep and wise words. True!

I cannot hear what wolinsky is saying (no sound here in the internet-cafe), but I think I know he wrote a book about being caught in the everyday-trance, and waking up from it. Still I don't know if this dude is awake. Havent been drawn to him yet.

To me, even nothingness is just another aspect of me. In my perspective I am and I am not, I am nothing and I am everything. Extremes are just opposites of the same stick - and I am the stick and every part of it.

Everything exists within my consciousness, including nothing. When I become the observer, all that I can imagine, exists... therefore if I think there is such a thing as "nothing" then it exists within the illusion.

But, yes, I love feeling alive, being me and participate and interact with the illusion because I love my dream, after all it is all my creation. But it is good to know that all and everything is available to me - including nothingness - if I so have a desire or need for it.

I have everything, and that includes nothing! :p :joylick:

Stephen Wollinsky - he seems to be talking about Busting Loose and The Illusion. What he names Self I know as Infinite Being, what he names I am I know as Limited Being. And then he says.

1. The Limited Being is a fraction of the Infinite Being, but the Infinite Being is not a fraction of the Limited Being. Which he basically says to clear up the mix up of Western religion - that thinks our physical body has a soul that leaves our body at death and flies off to heaven.

2. He says that consciousness and spiritual experience (like enlightenment)are both illusions. Which he is right - anything that we experience in this hologram (fake reality that is made of smoke and mirrors) is a thought in the infinite being. In other words, he says experiencing enlightenment is like playing the phase 1 game of Busting Loose. (Phase 1 - an experience which aims to make you believe this hologram is real - with the intention of disempowering you. It usually results in discomfort.)

3. "I do not exist, nothing outside of me exists, and yet it all exists." This reminds me of Matrix Energetics - there is no distance or time. Everything is light - everything is information.

Yes! Enlightenment is an illusion and consciousness is also an illusion. And although I know that it is just a thought in the infinite being, the fact that I am conscious of this makes this fact a part of my consciousness - a part of the illusion - a paradox right there?

I do totally get what he is saying - although semantics can sometimes get in the way. You have done a good job putting it in other words, 11:11. :namaste:

YES, absolutely! :D
