Enneagram test

I was wondering is any of you ever did an enneagram test and if the type you are according to it suits you? I recently was introduced to this, and for me it was pretty accurate (actually every test I did said I was a mix between type 2 and 6) I do think it's a bit narrow-minded, I mean, it's not the whole truth or something, but I noticed a lot of the things it said had some truth in it for me, at least points I already discovered in myself.

I have used the enneagram extensively as a life coach. It is brilliant.

How can you figure out one dominant type? I can see different types of acting or rather this defence-strategies when I interact with different people or situations. How can I spot one type if every type fits here and there? I don't get it yet, still I think the Enneagram is great. Seems simple, and very deep.
