I'm with Leah...
I spent the 90s reminiscing how great the 70s and 80s were.
The 90s was a dead decade imho.
High school, Pearl Jam, and Bill Clinton getting a BJ....that's all I remember.

you know I had a blast with those!! :joylick: I love it when they play old music at night clubs, that is, of course, when I am there and I'm willing to dance... but did I like the nighties? well, all I know is I was alive and innocent back then...

I only recognize a few of those songs (Beautiful Life, Coco Jambo, Where Do You Go), and I grew up in the 90's. I guess popular music was different in Canada, more global...?
Off the top of my head, I remember these:
1994
My most memmorable song from childhood-- it represented the mystery and beauty of life, especially singing it outside on one snowy winter evening.
YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.
1995
I remember listening to this on the bus to day camp, and also making fun of my cousin for thinking the lyrics were "Don't go JASON waterfalls"
YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.
1995
Enya wasn't that popular in the U.S. yet, but I came upon her CD on a visit to Toronto and LOVED it and was obsessed with her music for a few years.
YouTube- Enya - Anywhere Is
1996
This is a very pretty yet sad song. I don't think I ever understood the lyrics back then. I remember listening to it while riding in the backseat of my uncle's jeep with my cousins (I guess this post is showing how much music I was exposed to by my cousins!).
YouTube- If You Could Only See - Tonic
1997
I loved singing this one, and playing it on the piano. Memmories strongly associated with the movie and my first celebrity crush-- Leonardo DiCaprio. That's how I got to know Celine Dion's music, which I still enjoy.
YouTube- Celine Dion - Titanic (LIVE)
1998
My cousin loved this song.
YouTube- Lauryn Hill (That Thing)
Also Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, and the Spice Girls were popular (I couldn't post the vids here).
