Here's how we do it:

The first day of the game, the Universe gives you $1000...$2000 on the second day and so on and so on. The fun part is SPENDING the money on whatever your heart desires!! You can even roll your balance over to the next day if you want to save up a bit for something bigger...but it is way more fun to spend it ALL every day!! The cool thing will be watching some of these things really happen!!!

Utilities ~$1,300 a month. This includes iPhone. Upgrade to cable internet. Upgrade the cable TV.

Food: ~ $500 a month. This includes special orders at my food co-op.

Gas: ~60.00 a week. $240 a month.

Pet care: Food: ~50.00 a month. Vet care account: $5,100

Later today I may be back to talk about having things set up into accounts. Makes it easier to keep track of.
