Hey ya all people, beautiful ones... extensions of who I am...
I just wanted to know if any of you guys has reached this place as well... I notice everybody 'round here's always oriented to what they want, what they prefer, what feels good, what feels better... I'm not gonna say I no longer have preferences about life... but I am now in a place where I just.... AM... and when I read the thread tittles, which are all oriented to the acquirement of another state of being, different than the present one... I just have almost no interest in reading... because I don't care that much about that. The tension of looking for something other that what I have now, which distracts my attention from who I am... and even the word ''who'' is inessential and avoidable for... BEING is.. it! The awareness of BEING... is a whole other level of ... it's beyond any desire, it's a whole other matter.
no?

Hello gorgeous Mari, what a beautiful post! If I had any problem with achieving a steady sense of peace & joy using the abraham teachings it was that wanting things to be different can sometimes be very uncomfortable. When I am told things are supposed to change, to be exactly the way I want them to be, then when they don't i suffer quite a bit.
Its been an interesting journey for me releasing my attachement to the way things 'should' be, to now absolutely embracing and loving this moment for what it is. And embracing who I am, what i have, when I am.. yes, yes!
I have not perfected it yet by any means but I am on that path and its much more satisfying than running around chasing after things I want.
Jeshua says:
"you need to fully accept your current reality, before you can step forward into a new one. If you do not accept your current reality and you are holding onto your goals in a tense way, you are not moving forward.
Nothing will leave your reality, unless you love it. Loving it is equal to “setting it free.”
So this teaching is similar to what Abraham says but Jeshua mentions that its not so much about focusing on what you want to be that will bring about the new reality for you, it is loving what is :D
I find embracing & loving what is to be easy & something I can apply to every moment of my life.
I am currently going through a huge phase of transformation which I wrote about here. (http://abetalk.com/showthread.php?t=3068)
And I agree with Jeshua that accepting what is is the fastest mode to self & by extension external reality tranformation. It just can be extremely suprising in the way in which the changes happen...

I think most of us are there Mari, but then I can only speak for myself. We still have desires cause that is what summons the life force and it is a part of being, for that is what brings new experiences to you and what moves the energy, but yes, I find myself just BEING for the most part too.
That happens when you realize who you really are and become the nonjudgmental observer, or in other words, you are BEING who you really are.... CONSCIOUSNESS!
Awesome! Love ya Mari!

Hey there Mari , I want to post another Jeshua quote that speaks to where you are:
The more you identify yourself with Spirit, with the God inside you, the more you release things that you used to worry about or that you used to put a lot of energy into. You realize on deeper and deeper levels that there is truly nothing to do, except to be.
-Jeshua
Long Version:
The passage from ego based consciousness to heart centered living is in many ways a death experience. The more you identify yourself with Spirit, with the God inside you, the more you release things that you used to worry about or that you used to put a lot of energy into. You realize on deeper and deeper levels that there is truly nothing to do, except to be. When you identify with your beingness, instead of the fleeting thoughts and emotions that pass through you, your life is affected immediately. Spirit is not something abstract. It is a reality that you can truly bring down into your life. Being in touch with this purest of sources will eventually change everything in your life. God or Source or Spirit is by its nature creative but in ways that are nearly incomprehensible to you.
Spirit is silent and perennial and yet creative. The reality of the divine cannot really be grasped by the mind. It can only be felt. If you allow it into your life and you recognize it as the whisperings of your heart, everything slowly starts to fall into place. When you are tuned into the reality of spirit, the silent awareness that is behind all of your experiences, you stop pushing or forcing your will upon reality. You allow things to fall back into their natural state of being. You become your natural, true Self. This all occurs in a harmonious, meaningful way. You experience that things come together in a way that has a natural rhythm, a natural flow to it. All you have to do is stay tuned into this divine rhythm and let go of fears and misunderstandings that make you want to intervene."

Nice post Martha, the whole thing about being is so interesting to me because I bought into the illusion that its what you DO thats makes you who you are. But its not. Its who you BE. :D :D :D
Trying to imagine what it would be like if I felt like this:
" there is truly nothing to do, except to be. "
- sa-weeet! ;)
We are worthy because we ARE, we are loveable because we ARE
WE ARE THAT WE ARE
I AM THAT I AM

We are human BEings not Human DOings.
When it's all about do do do do, then you're looking outside yourself. When it's about falling into place and a natural unfolding, you are BEing.

and when I read the thread tittles, which are all oriented to the acquirement of another state of being, different than the present one... I just have almost no interest in reading... because I don't care that much about that.
For me, none of this is about "attainment". I enjoy BEING a sponge.
Personally,I think (hope) there will never be an end to my path. I want to continue to learn & explore & grow throughout the rest of my experience. As I become complacent with one subject or set of teachings, I move on to another - the more complicated the better.
There are SO many gorgeous mythologies & teachings & cultural experiences to savor in this life. I hope I never get tired of that!
Thanks for making me consider this, Maris. :)

My big shift came when I realized my simple truth .....that I want to feel better and thus I then understood that I am focused here essentially to qualify what well being means to me.
That was BIG for me and it is fun as I transition further/deeper into that adventure!:D:heart:

hey you guys... I've been having second thoughts about the words I used in my thread, for example: ''I don't care about it'' - '' has anybody else reached this place...'' which might be interpreted as if I considered myself to be ahead of anybody which is really not what I meant. I really just meant to gather some spiritual friends who feel the way I feel so we can discuss and share experiences...
Of course all of you wonderful beings took it ''the right way'' but I still wanted to clear it up for any future readers of the thread...
Shari, I already knew you were aligned with me on this sweetie! I love you, and I am diggin your new avatar girl! sweeet ;0) thank you for the quotes...
''the whole thing about being is so interesting to me because I bought into the illusion that its what you DO thats makes you who you are. But its not. Its who you BE.''
yes yes...
Martha... :0)... conciousness yes!!! only I never said I find myself just being most of the time... lol.. it's wonderful that you do...
anyhows... thanks for all the replies, I appreciate them..
being the nonjudgmental observer...
:0P
love to you all...

Well Maris, what I mean by "BEING most of the time" is just being whatever you're being in the moment and not wandering somewhere else like in the past or future, but BEING in the moment whatever it is you're being in that precise moment.
We are all BEING at any given moment when we are in the present... be it being an observer, a friend, a client, a mother... all of those roles we play in life are also a state of being while at the same time also being yourself. :D
Haha it is like a tongue twister, but it is true, we are always BEING!
Now, there are times when you are just BEING CONSCIOUSNESS and not interacting with your surroundings but just observing it. This precise state of BEING is powerful and should be experienced, but even if I wanted to stay there most of the time (which I don't) it would be very hard because the reason why we're physical is precisely that, to interact with your illusion and have unique experiences. ^_^
Love ya! ♥

hey you guys... I've been having second thoughts about the words I used in my thread,
All non-judgmental. STOP IT! I personally found your post to be quite truthful. You speak your truth, I love that.
Maris, I've been there. It's the whole, "How can anything get better than THIS?" feeling.
What I'm learning - at this point - is that it ONLY GETS BETTER. Awesome, don't ya think? You can choose to chill with what you've got or choose more & more & more.
Preferences rock.
Just sayin'.

Exactly....fuck how anyone might interpret your words.
Spoo your truth and those in alignment with you will 'get it'.
Is that simple.
