I am just now learning about EFT... I think the tapping does work but can any one advise of the tapping talk... or what to say while tapping?????? it seems the opposite of abe in that one repeats the problem many times... Doesn't that bring the negative closer??? help!!!!... the link belows is an example of what I am trying to ask:

Hi Buttons!
I don't think there is any 'danger' in stating where you are (i.e., the vibration as it is) in order to release it through EFT. Others will be able to help you better in finding a statement that works well.
Love and hugs...
Seeing you in all your brilliant wellness!

Buttons, I had a thought. Louise Hay offers some great ideas on wellness. She suggests affirmations for specific conditions. If you don't have her book, and you are interested, PM me and I will tell you what she says about the condition you are wanting to change your vibration on.
Love,
Christine

[EFT nulls the power of the negative vibration. By stating "even though I _____________, I still deeply and completely accept myself..." you are making peace with where you are. Abraham teaches make peace with where you are, don't put a happy face sticker over your true emotions.
11:11, so true. Thanks for pointing this out. I notice in practice that the feeling gets less intense and goes up the scale when I tap either a tape of old experiences in my head or simply a current emotion. Going up the scale may be not exactly what happens as for me I experience many flavors of emotions possible, more than on a list. Each time I do iEFT, the emotion gets better. The statement you mention at the beginning I state to myself even when I don't have time to do tapping and am feeling something unpleasant. I say even though "I am feeling _______I completely love and accept myself." It seems to help me see that I am more than the body and emotions, I am a wider non-physical being who assists in healing. I was tapping out some previous old stories, seeing them as videos on a small screen yesterday. I would see my IB reaching down and enveloping me in love as I was delving into the me in history who experienced something, and that helped me release the feeling, replaced by something better with the love of my IB.

Let me know how that works for you Suki. I have had some limited relief doing this but I have not been repeating anything...just tapping.

You use EFT to deactive resistance. And the setup phrase you use actually allows you to get in touch with it so you can release it when you tap.
But remember this should be fun! And not some activity to focus on your problems.
I wrote an EFT appreciation once. I hope you like it.
I love EFT.
I love to tap.
I appreciate the tapping points.
I appreciate that negativity can dissolve with a tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap.
I appreciate that a tap here and tap there, makes it all very clear, that negativity is going out the rear.
I appreciate tapping it away.
I appreciate tapping away every negative thought.
I appreciate that tapping and Abraham are like tapping and Fred Asthaire. Just got to bring my tapping shoes. (smile)
I appreciate I feel so light after I tap away.
I appreciate knowing I can feel good.
I appreciate EFT.
I appreciate tapping away every negative thought that led me astray because tapping is sure OK!

Great insight 11:11. I never thought of it that way.
Sukibuttons - I must tell you that I have had great success with EFT. I first learned about it 6 years ago but for some reason I soon lost interest. Then, about 1-1/2 years ago I really got into it. I watched all the DVDs from emofree.com... I took a class... I even worked with an EFT therapist (over the phone no less!) for about a 1/2 year. I guess I was just ready for it.
Anyway, I have mostly worked with it for emotional issues but some physical too. I find it fits perfectly with Abe's teachings. On the surface... you are focusing on something negative. But you are doing it WHILE tapping on accupuncture points... so that releases it. It really works!
So for just daily mundane stuff I reach for better-feeling thoughts when I find my EGS warning me about negativity emotion. But sometimes I encounter stuff that really gets me. Intense anger or worry, etc. In those cases it is much much much easier and faster to do EFT on the issue.
You've already gotten some great advice... I just had to jump in here and express my enthusiasm for this wonderful tool. I wish I had known about it decades ago... it would have saved me alot of pain and alot of money spent in the therapist's office. ;)
