Ever See Flashes of Light?

Hey guys,

In the last couple weeks or so, I've had some strange visual experiences.

The first one was on the road, and I saw the side wall and road melt away into light a bit in a gleam. Then it went back to normal. I figured I was just tired.

Then last night, I was reading, and on the wooden wall in front of me, I saw this bright light take up a ovally shape, like it was coming from a strong sunbeam. it was just there for a second then gone. THAT felt real. The light was just on the wall, and it was night, and blinds were closed so it couldn't have come from outside.

Have you guys ever had something like that happen, or heard of it happening to someone else? Does it mean something? I guess it could all be in my head, but I've never taken any LSD/shrooms or any hallucinagens in my life, so it wouldn't be a trip or flashback or anything.

Hi Dan. Wish I had a quote for you, but here is the gist of what Abraham says about that: you are interpreting vibration in a visual way. Everything is vibration and sometimes we interpret it visually (seeing form or light or angels etc) or as sound... I am sure there are other ways too. For some reason, you are interpreting this vibration visually.

Hiya Dan,

Have you been meditating more frequently or more focused spiritually lately? That will cause your vibration to "raise" and allow you to tune into higher (well, "different") frequencies -- which is probably what's happening. Source energy is everywhere around us, and when we tune in we get a visual (or audible) interpretation. Have fun with it and share!

My experience is different though. As a young child, I have had lots of recurring out of body----astral travel if you put it. I see my body lying down in bed or I see myself flying outer space! It was so wonderful---so exhilerating. But everything changed when I got older, I got afraid of it because of what I have picked up from school. The fear of the unknown.

When I was in college, I always get petrified in my sleep. I can not move. I soon learned that this is called night paralysis? Does anyone have had this experience?
