pain is because of negative thought, so is sickness.
so...mmm...I think that one should work on himself, and than everything will go well. being healthy and being high.
What do I mean by : work on oneself?
pray, or meditate or affirm, or appreciate or whatever of spiritual work fits for you. Read some of Abraham books. :heart:

When I'm feeling sick or in pain I just get OK with being down. When my physical body feels bad, for whatever reason... its just hard to feel good.

So the worst thing I can do is "try" and jump too far up the Emotional Guidance Scale. Because I can't make it... and then I feel even worse than before. So I satisfy myself with a small step up. I tell myself stuff like: "I can feel sick and sorry for myself", or "I can feel sick and hopeful". And reminding myself of that is enough to drop the oars - at least for a little while. That usually is the best I can do... and its good enough.

How about just GOING PAST the bad feeling??

I am in a very contrast-y situation right now, which will culminate on this Wednesday. Thinking on it too much actually brings me so far down the scale that I get physically sick.

So to keep myself in line, I am just going PAST Wednesday. I'm at Saturday, I'm having a dinner party with friends, I have bought champagne to make a toast to all of my friends and announce that my situation of contrast is over - it is resolved.

I guess the point is, that feeling bad - whether physical or emotional - is not the worst thing in the world. But if you can go PAST the bad feeling to a better one, then you will stay higher on the scale. And if you can stay higher on the scale, then you should be able to resolve your situation of contrast more efficiently.

Lots of good responses already! I shift my focus away from the issue onto something else...I find playing computer games helps with this....

Thank you all for the responses..... the pain I am referring to is neck and back pain that is on going...it is better as y'all say with other thoughts instead of "OH MY GOD this HURTS."........... I have also found some relief fom the EFT tapping I learned about on here... ty evey one... y'all are the best of the best. x0x0x0x0x sukibuttons
