Since Ana brought up Louise Hay, I am going to mention my appreciation of my first spiritual teacher that inspired me on my spiritual exploration, and that teacher is Marianne Williamson. Although she does not study Abraham, she does study the Course in Miracles, which is a work that I picked up initially when I started to peruse metaphysical teachings. Marianne taught me there is a Power greater than us that we can have access too, and that is the power of God. All we need to do is ask, and it will come to our assistance. Abraham further bridged what Marianne taught in that we have to allow what we have asked to come into our experience. As we ask, it is given, and we just need to relax and allow it in.
Marianne also taught me how to pray, which is an action that gives me a belief to hold on to God.

I appreciate Marianne's wisdom and her knowledge of spiritual teachings. I also appreciate her as the initial person who woke me up to the path to enlightenment.

I'm listening to some speech and she said how we try to find out what people want to hear, but if people would know what they would like to hear, they wouldn't need you. great!

Hi Jen and Ana.
Ana,
Marianne was a huge influence in the early development of my understanding of spirituality.
She is a very good teacher, and has been doing this work in new age thought, as long as Esther has, since the eighties. So she knows her stuff. Through her, I learned about the Course in Miracles which spawned my desire to learn more about metaphysics, which would later lead me to Abraham.
If you've been exposed to a religous background, as I was, she's also very compabtible with your beliefs, since she uses words like God and Jesus in her lectures. Since I was heavilyg influenced by Catholicism, her teachings jived with me since she was using religous jargon that I was familiar with in a metaphysical way.
She is freakin - AWESOME. I truly recommend her to indoctrinate oneself into spiritual understanding, especially her book "A Return To Love."

YES ,STEVE, SHE IS AN OLDER TEACHER OF MINE THROUGH HER BOOKS.
HER BOOK THAT YOU SHOW THE COVER (RETURN TO LOVE) IS TOUGH ON ROMANTIC PARTNER RELATIONSHIPS...IT IS BOTH HELPFUL AND DEPRESSING...I FEEL THE SAME ABOUT THE CIM, SEEMED SO ANTI- EMOTIONS ...SOOOO FOR ME, ABRAHAM IS A BETTER FIT FOR ME NOW.
HOPE THAT YOUR DAY HAS GONE WELL!!
