I am beginning to delve into the teachings of Bashar. Enjoying it. So expanding. So, now I'm interested and enjoying seeing how Abraham and Bashar teachings are similar and/or different and in what ways. Some of you here I know are also reading and playing with Bashar's teachings. I would love to also hear your perspectives. How has incorporating the two teachings changed your experience? or hasn't it?
I have just started comparing the two and have made a general outline of my perspective and feel excited to share it at http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=dgg97b ... 93fg&hl=en (http://docs.google.com/Doc?docid=dgg97bbm_44hpc393fg&hl=en)
I would be glad to edit it as you all add your perspectives as a co-creation.
I am also interested in chatting live with any of you (msn messenger preferred or skype) who are interested.
BTW, I was asking for more, more excitement and depth in my vibrational as well as my physical perspective journey and I attracted this Bashar material. I am seeing that I asked and it was given. I feel expanded and excited as a result of it. It feels like Bashar, so far (I have read/heard only so much, so far of Bashar, and only put it into practice for a short time) has accelerated my excitement and opened up my perspective on the possibility of anything. And I have not sensed any conflict in the two teachings only congruences or variety, Whatcha think?
For those who are a vibrational match and asking for it the website for Bashar's teachings is http://www.Bashar.org
A great over view of his teachings can be downloaded and heard on audio there and it can be read at http://www.bashar.org/about/Fundamentals.html
Also, of course Abraham's and Bashar's teachings can be searched for and hear on You Tube as well.
Enjoy and having fun with my expansion,
Following my excitement,
RICHann

Hi Rich-ann
I've just been introduced to this forum by Alex! I'm a long time fan of Bashar - he feels very much like a brother to me
That's a nice, accurate, comparison list, thanks!
In terms of Basher: (No Mention of LOA that I know of)
His 3rd law : What you put out is what you get back
is very much his flavour of LOA
although there's less of - thoughts out the the universe 'out there' and more, as you say, the that Universe I perceive is all Me. In fact, he's clear that you can't ascend or shift from 3rd to 4th density until you become aware that the "world you previously thought you lived in, lives in you, IS you"
That's my bag too - the realisation: Oh My God - It's All Me (including you!)

Thanks John and Alex for sharing. And great to have you join us John. I look forward to getting to know your perspective.
Wow, guys I have begun reading Bashar, Blueprint for Change and applying what I've been learning to my experience. Wow again!
Not quite ready to wrap my head and conversation around it, just so excited having fun with it, experiencing it. I'm sure I will share soon. Rather it will coming flowing out of me.
MUCH LOVE,
RICHann

And---I am wondering how Bashar compares to "Oneness' channeled by Rasha. I was guided to this book by a post by RocknRollgoddess, who some of you know, and I am REALLY getting so much out of it!
Very compatible with Abe, but emphasizes the multifaceted experiences we are having with the others in our life events simultaneously.

I am brand spanking new to Bashar, but was struck by a couple of things he said and want to learn more. The Third Law which is What you put out is what you get hit me in a new way when he mentions the idea of smiling into a mirror. All of your experiences in your Youniverse mirror the vibration you put out. O.k. The you smile first and the mirror smiles back not the other way around. You get immediate feedback for what your vibe is in other words. I found it useful and it changed my vibe right now (and keeps doing so) when I simply think about smiling at the world, my mirror. It cut through my personal negativity. That third law of Bashar's is the same as the Law of Attraction. Having it have immediate effects makes it even more useful. I read somewhere else is that the U. gives you what you want always. If it isn't giving it to you right now there is good reason but you will get it. Oh, and he adds that the universe will conspire for you with synchronistic events when you folllow your excitement. I say that in my words, which are influenced by Abraham's words on the same concept.
The other thing that Bashar talks about is following your excitement. I really like the simplicity of this. It is like Abe says, go downstream with what floats your boat. I am applying the excitement thing to everyday things in the moment with decisions. Which am I excited about most? It seems to work better or make it more clear to me. Bashar talks about your true self and how excitement leads you there. Abe talks about doing what feels good because this is your inner being communicating. Same thing, different words.
I read the final chapter of A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle ties the book all together as he talks about doing stuff with enthusiasm. "Enthusiasm means there is a deep enjoyment in what you do plus the added element of a goal or a vision that you work toward. " Enthusiasm is a high energy frequency. I think of enthusiasm and excitement as very similar, btw.
"There will be enormous intensity and energy behind what you do . You will feel like an arrow that is moving toward the target and enjoying the journey."
And "Enthusiasm is the power that transfers the mental blueprint into the physical dimension."
I like how Bashar, Abraham and Eckhart Tolle are saying things that converge and are what I need to hear right now. Synchronicity is unveiling the spiritual teachings perfectly!

RICHann - thank YOU so much!
Yes, the video IS very powerful, though we have found that very few 'get it'.
But having said that, we are also finding that the awareness of all in 'our' world is rising rapidly, (being helped from so many sources like Abe, Bashar, etc) and so recently we've had three folks who really DO get this shift into the very personal experience of our Truth, and that's been wonderful for us, and to share at this level!
So do keep us all posted on your experiences and revelations etc.

Absolutely Shannon, and how boards like this are arising that are 'cross-denominational' is VERY encouraging and inspiring!
Thanks for your excellent thoughts

Three perspectives
One from the non physical,
the second from a physical dimension in our future
and the third from a now physical perspective.
Interesting.
I really don't mind where enlightenment comes from as long as I become more as a result of it's message.
They are all reminding us of who we truly are and the potential we have to expand our relationship with our inner ones.

Three perspectives YES! That is visionary, Simon.
Expanding to seeing life from formless, non-physical place as our inner being does!

Hello all,
I have been intrigued about Bashar since reading a few things here, so I went to check him out, and I' even more intrigued. That mirror analogy is mighty powerful... thanks to all of you for sharing it here.
Have a blessed day.

Awesome Richann, I have been meaning to get into Bashar for a while & now seems like the best time to do it. I just ordered some tapes & the book you mentioned. I just wanted to say that if you like Bashar & his book you may also like this book:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... R&v=glance
An Ascension Handbook: Material Channeled from Serapis by Tony Stubbs
I've just ordered it from amazon.com based on the excerpt I read & it sounds totally Abeish, very very interesting exploration into what is reality & then how to experience 'ascension' which I just think of as coming into alignment i.e. releasing resistance & being in that state of high fast pure energy.

I just started reading more into Bashar today. I had read Alex's thread earlier but for some reason had postponed going to the link and listening. I must say I'm really hooked, I loved it!
I think Abraham and Bashar are more alike than not. I also enjoyed the mirror analogy to the max!
Excited and loving the expansion... YAYYYY

Thank you for this post Richann. I was wondering about Bashar's teachings and this is the perfect summary. I like reading from a lot of other teachers too because there is always a slight angle of difference that sheds even more light on my own life experience.
I tend to feel thought that we already know everything there is to know. All the worlds knowledge is at once so simple that it can be summarised into one single statement and so vast that we can write tomes and tomes and never get to the end of it.
Isn't life amazing?

Hi RICHann,
thank you for this synapsis of both teachings, I think it's great to see it so side by side!
The only thing I see a little bit different is the question of LoA. The third law Bashar mentiones is in my opinion pure LoA (What you put out is what you get back). He just doesn't call it by the name LoA. But it is the same as "What is likened to itself is drawn". And it is certainly the same as the radio station analogy Abraham likes to use.
When I first heard the four laws Bashar talks about, I thought, wow, this sounds similar like what Abraham teaches, but I never heard them mention the seond law (Everything changes all the time, except these four laws). And on the next tape I heard from them, Abraham talked in depth about how our environment actually changes all the time, but since we're so fucused, we don't notice these changes since it always changes to the same. So, viola, there it was!
Some people criticize that all these teachers only regurgitate what has been said before over and over again, but I think that's just because there are only so many ways how to tell an Universal Truths without repeating yourself.
Again thanks a lot for your synapsis!
Love,
Dorothee

As I understand Bashar and Abraham differ attitude about expectation.
In one video(that Rewa posted-1h video) Bashar say:not that expectation is needed...and Abraham say: this is great point of attraction.

I really enjoy how specific Bashar is, I love how straightforward he is & I love his sense of humor. His book 'A blueprint for change' is really clever & insightful.
Check out 'Beyond the secret' videos Stewart, you will like them. I started a whole new thread on them here " f2/454.html (http://abetalk.com/f2/454.html) " (click on numbers). There is a really good feeling meditation at the very end.. Bashar rocks!
I am 'princessskb' on you tube so you might see some of my comments below the videos!

Here I go again..
Abraham is offering a totally different perspective to the others. That is how I see it.
They get us to focus on our relationship with our non physical intention which is , Well being. That is all Abraham is saying with all the words and all the interactions folks have had with them. With them, It always comes down to paying attention to the way we feel in the evolving now moment. The message can't be any simpler than that. There is no intention from Abraham that our civilisation will evolve into some other dimension and fly off into the universe and interact with ET's. They say we are here just for the experience and that it is a fun thing to do. It is all about expansion on an individual case by case experience as pure positive energy refocuses back into this physical experience as totally new expressions of the collective's non physical 'all that is' evolved essence. The physical is a construction zone or play ground in which we develop and refine the energy that we draw in through thought. Manifestation is just a framework to hang our feelings on so we can see what we look like.
I'll say it again...Bashar is good bedtime reading but the idea that they are promoting for the collective is totally different from Abrahams. It is such a fine line because Bashar uses the same laws to qualify their intentions. their intentions are to teach us how to evolve as a civilisation. that is not who we are folks. We are non physical eternal beings(according to Abraham) who are focussing into this time space place so that we can organise and refine thought as we interact within the relationship between non physical intention ( well being) and the contrast of what is. We are born into this contrast and desire is born out of that interaction. There is no divine purpose only that we find happiness and become more, for as we become more, so does 'All that is". It is not down to us getting our collective act together in such a way that our civilisation will teleport into a new dimension. Maybe some of us might but maybe there are others who just want to have different experiences. All that is is all that is 'NOW' not some future scenario created by our imaginations. There is no future just 'the now' Abraham is encouraging us to focus in the now and create a new now by choosing better feelings about what we are focusing on. This time space place is where we have a unique opportunity to play with our imaginations and develop and refine the essence of 'ALL THAT IS".
Blah blah blah blah.......
I love you guys
Simon
