Good stuff...smiley happy day...
i am just sitting here with a smile on my face, while i watch the rest of the world struggle with angst and worry about tomorrow--and i have none--all is indeed well...its a beautiful day, and my life is filled with wonder...
:)
I pulled this quote from another thread, as I felt it deserved it's own thread! I think it is cool how Alex can live outside of this election process and feel joy. I, personally, find joy in parts of the process - and a presidential election day is so especially thrilling for me this year!!
#1 - It just happens to be my awesome Grandma's 97th birthday... (but that's a separate dealio...)
I love election day because it has come to symbolize REBIRTH to me. :joylick: Election day 4 years ago was a day filled with anxiety, but I turned it around... I made a conscious decision to change and it led me to such huge change that I could have never even imagined :drum: - a 63 pound weight loss and an unexpected spiritual awakening...
Tomorrow holds such joyful potential!!!
Plus, I love the experience of going to vote... being with other people - I love any opportunity to connect (I need to get out more often!! rofl )... in a place I feel comfortable... knowing that my world keeps expanding and getting better!!!
Let's go, Universe!!! :drum:

I love voting not because of all this two party but because at it's core it's about hope and making everything better. I know in a perfect world that if everyone was like the great people here that we wouldn't need government and we'd be doing pretty good, but we don't and there's a lot of wrongs in society. Anyhow that's fine because you don't know how great it can get when you've never been in the crap. So hopefully all us Americans here vote and maybe I'll post a picture from the big Obama celebration event tomorrow in Chicago that I'm going to. Cheers and Namaste!!

Just got home from the event in Chicago for Obama and it was extremely amazing. Despite the huge crowds of people everything went smoothly and when he won it was amazing. Like AbeBabe said there is nothing but joy and awesomeness now and the vibes there and everywhere just well words fail me there, and things can only get better. This is a watershed moment for hope and all that is good within all of us.

I'm not really into politics and had decided not to vote... but... yesterday, almost at the last minute, I felt like voting in this historical event... and I did! :D
I have to say that when Obama did his victory speech I felt tears of love and appreciation for humankind, for togetherness, for being one race - the human race - for being ONE in consciousness!
What an overwhelming and beautiful feeling, it was a very emotional moment for me!
On the other hand, this morning I'm feeling a little saddened for the passing of prop 8. Although it doesn't affect me personally, I know it does affect thousands of people and it is just sad to see that while some of us are free to marry the person we love, others can't do it only because the person they love is of the same sex as theirs.
But all that said, I know I shouldn't resist it and I won't... so, ALL IS WELL! :meditate:
CONGRATS TO ALL OF US!!!

Day of Joy & Rebirth Indeed!
CONGRATS, OBAMA!!
WOW WOW WOW!!
What an incredible vibration felt across the Universe. I felt RELIEF, RELEASE, HOPE, JOY, a RAISING of the VIBRATION OF MASS CONSCIOUSNESS in an instant, in a flash. I got chills over chills over chills. They are still coming. I knew this was going to be big, and that people would feel more hopeful, but I was not quite prepared for the actual feeling of mass concsiousness vibrations raising at the same moment. WOW!
THAT WAS FUN! THAT WAS EXCITING!
MORE EXCITING THAN SEEING A UFO!
THAT WAS AMAZING TO EXPERIENCE. MASSIVE, GLOBAL, INSTANTANEOUS VIBRATION RAISING.
WHAT A RUSH!!!
MORE OF THAT PLEASE!!!! :drum: :drum: :drum: :drum: :drum:
Here's to new beginnings and higher vibrations! :applause: :meditate:
