I've been playing with this idea for the past month, nice fun
> What if I could build a city. A city that has no motorized vehicles. All transport is by PodCars - battery driven, super fast vehicles accessible within a 3 min walk from anywhere in the city.

YouTube- ULTra PRT sustainable transit
Pure air. Quiet. Abundant space for walking, skating, riding bikes. Ofcourse no traffic jams, no traffic lights, no parking hassles.

Bashar talks about how the Sassani live on their ships and the rest of their planet is like one huge park - why not us.
I envision my city consisting exclusively of superstructures - 400 stories each which can house 2 million people. People live and work in the same building. And play there too. Gyms, swimming pools, discotheques, spas, shopping malls - all integrated into each superstructure. No commutes.

And when you're ready for some sun, just take the super fast elevator that will take you outdoors in under a minute - you step outside and its like you're in a forest, peacocks roam about, you can see the river moving gently, tall shady trees, bamboos creakin

And now the soft attractions of the city -
The whole city is clothing optional
Most drugs are legal
Crime rates are low to non-existent since we exercise strict measures while letting in people(even though we're an integral part of the country we're located in, we have our own visa system), we eject out those who create trouble and are well policed.
We grow our own fruits, vegetables and animals right within the city, this is possible because we have land abundantly since all of our activity is centered around our superstructures. What this means to you is the juiciest of foods delivered to you from a source you can trust.
The most creative of souls gather here since they find the environment so nurturing, the municipality so welcoming and the laws very relaxed.

The average person living in the city has a great lifestyle - they've got an excellent community pool, gym and yoga studio accessible within minutes. They can step out into the greenery and enjoy the sparrows, or play basketball at the court nearby
The city is buzzing with activities, U2 is performing tonight at the Tagine stadium, there's Banksy's art being exhibited at UGMA, ofcourse if you feel the seas calling you take the podcar to Bondi beach and surf perhaps?

We've been consistently voted the most entrepreneur-friendly city in the world - our efficient legal system, responsive administration and low taxes have encouraged some mighty entrepreneurial ventures to take birth within the city and now spread wings across continents.
Oh and a simple step we do to encourage good governance? We pay our officials well, salaries match and often exceed the private sector.
We've attracted some of the worlds best companies to our shores, companies that take their social responsibility to heart, Google, Virgin, Tata
