Hi everyone, I'm Tangerine. Offline, I'm simply Yvie.

I've just joined in yesterday. (Thanks Alex for giving me this link). :)
My story is less dramatic as how I found my way through Abraham's teachings. When I was in College, I had a professor who told me his secret. At first I didn't take it seriously. He said. I'll tell you a secret and never tell anyone. I agreed not to tell it until now.

He told me, "Do you know that you can get anything you want and the universe will give it to you?"
I didn't understand him of course. I sure am wasn't ready to hear the message, nor absorb it. I know he told me a LOT about it but those are only the words that I remembered.

I only understood it today---after 3 years when I saw "The Secret" in a local bookstore. I perused through the book and was struck to see some message so similar as to what he told me. A shiver ran to my spine. I got a copy of the book myself, but I was barraged by questions of now what?

I wanted more answers. And it was given. I asked for more.

That's how I discovered Abraham's teachings. (Abraham was in fact the secret behind The Secret and I was so delighted to be able to learn this.)

I am so astonished at the power that we are capable of, so elated at the thought that we are in control of our lives after all! The discovery humbled me and empowered me at the same time. It humbled me because I always blame other people for what has happened in my life. I have always been depressed and empty. I wanted answers but no one can even give it to me. After all, we are responsible for our own well-being.

That discovery released me from every guilt and loneliness that I have ever felt. I love this feeling and I want more of this feeling.

I know that I am on my way to great bliss. I love what I have been and what I am going to be.

And I am so glad to be able to share this to all of you.

This forum has a very loving energy the first time I came here. I was in fact looking for followers of Abraham and now I finally landed in this place! Quoting the other thread title: "So this is where you've been hiding?" :hug:

Yes, my son is a gift. Everyday I marvel at his presence and it always reminds me of my responsibility to be able to reflect back to him all the love that I feel! :heart:

I find the Abraham teachings to be very powerful. It's quiet a blessing
your professor led you to them. The Secret definitely has its roots to the Abraham
teachings, since it revolves around Law of Attraction which is the basis of what
Abraham teaches.

Hi Steve! Wow I am so glad to meet a fellow Filipino here! To answer your question I'm doing super! :D Masayang-masaya na ako ngayon. Now that I discovered and absorbed all Abraham's teachings, I see all the beautiful things in my life slowly unfolding.

And yes, my son is such a joy to us. He's 1 yr and 6 months old. He's growing very fast and is learning a lot from this world!

What my professor did was love. Because he wanted me to feel powerful and loved. It was at that time that I was feeling helpless, insecure and depressed that he shared to me that wisdom. Wherever he is, I want him to know that I am so happy he did that and I am very much thankful for that!
