Hi Aber friends:)

My name is Paula and I am 24 yars old, I live in Massachusetts but spend a lot of time in Rhode Island too with my boyfriend Alex. He is the one who introduced me to Abraham about 14 months ago. I guess i must have done alot of asking because my oh my, I sure have learned so much through him and all of the new interesting things he has introduced me to like Abraham.

I think that I have been able to apply the Abe message into my life pretty well but I want to BE their message and I want to feel bliss and happiness in every way possible. I think sometimes I get in my own way, it is always just us when we think about it :scratch: Anyhow, I want to be responsible for my own life, my own happiness and say WOW I did that! :biggrin:

I woke up today with a dream of being with a man who adored me...I focused on that feeling this AM...and it does feel wonderful to be adored!!! and I deserve to be adored (as do each of us!)...It is the feelings not the guy that I really want=right...all the "things" that we want to manifest we want to manifest becasue we think that they will bring us joy.... etc. feelings..So for me adoration, safety, fuzzy warmth, acceptance, fun, play and a oneness feeling are what I am wanting...

DITTO to what Alex says. I met my dear :heart: after I've felt love and adoration for myself on a regular basis. I had some good experience that showed me how I really felt about myself in the past - then I realized I needed to feel differently about myself if I was to attract the kind of man I really wanted. It was funny - I slowly started being put off by men who didn't love themselves - I started being attracted to their way of thinking and to their love for themselves. I also made a few very good male friends, and I attracted my vibrational match, who was telling me Abe stuff before I even learned about Abe teachings. He has naturally come to know what i have come to know through Abraham. It blew my mind when I saw similarities between what he was talking and what Abraham was talking.
I must say, I AM very proud of the gap I closed before I met him, and all I did was start feeling the way I wanted to feel.

Our happiness does not depend on anyone else.

So, the point is, you don't need anyone else to start feeling the way you want to feel - it's all in you - isn't that wonderful!

I just had a thought that I wanted to share. This is not to "defend" my earlier post but just to clear up where I was on the emotional scale at the time..and
I have heard Jerry say to Esther "That sounds up stream to me" to which Esther replies "from where I am it is down stream"...

You see I had just finished more mornings that i would like to admit to awakening and not being really glad that i was awake...so from that frame of mind, to awake to feeling adored=major "down stream "for me..

.and to think that i could awake with another rather than alone like I have felt for far too long that too is very "down stream" for me..

I have heard abe say that when we awake and remember a dream it is instantly downloaded. We were just in source but we awaken in the emotional stance that we went to bed with...so for me it meant that my emotional set has come up the scale!!!!This is very good for me!!!!!Yeah for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would love to be perfect daily like some of you seem to be, but I am not there yet..I am only about 6 months with Abe and I feel that I am doing very well!!!
I trust that I will being doing as well as you all after 16 months or several years...And thank you all for tolerating we newbies here!
