Wow,
I have been puzzling myself over another desire (to do with relationships) but as I have become more clear on what I want on that front (thanks to the lovely people on this board), I have decided to focus on my career prospects.
Up till now, I had already applied for some jobs but hadn't heard much back so was starting to feel a bit down about it all. Up until a couple of hours ago, I was in the process of sending out some more applications but there is one job I particularly want that I have already applied for and have had no reply from them.
All day today I checked my email constantly and saw nothing.
Instead of feeling bad and 'taking score too soon' like I usually do, I decided to do a quick 'Thankyou Universe' exercise where I pretended that I was writing to a friend telling them that I had got a particular job that I had applied for. Once I finished that, I quickly forgot about it and busied myself with other things.
Well, I came back to my computer an hour or two later, completely having forgotten the desire I sent out and saw my email was open. I clicked refresh and *bang* an email was sitting in my mailbox from the company I had applied for - it was an offer!
I couldn't believe it. I just had to share as it still amazes me how fast this stuff can work when you simply ask and then allow. :rocket2: :rocket2: :rocket2: :woohoo:
