Ok guys, lets talk about Abetalk....

We've all co-created here & personally I'm lovin' it. But I',m wondering......

Why is Abetalk full of gorgeous, intelligent, insightful people with quick wit & seemingly less problems than the rest of the world? (Ok - maybe we don't have less problems, but we sure as hell don't seem as willing to roll around in 'em.) And I'm not referring to any specific kind of forum. It seems to me that anyone can pick a forum at random, go there, bitch & whine about all that is wrong & get a whole bunch of hand-holders who want to hear all the minutia of every thing that is, in fact, wrong.

So why is this little virtual corner of the world so....uplifting?

Why are the members of this forum just a bit more successful, open minded, happy & (I'll say it again) better looking?

Is it Ron & 11:11? Ron suggested that it could be the freedom here...

What is it?? What specific quality do you guys see in this place that makes it so unique? Are you all really as good-looking as you appear to be - or am I looking through "rose colored glasses?"

I don't know much about the WHY of it, although I suspect we all wanted and thus co-created a place of PURE LOVE and FUN. What I do know is that this place is beautiful beyond anything I have ever shared with other human beings. I appreciate it BEYOND MEASURE.

I'm APPRECIATING, 11:11!! But not just of the attitude we share - I'm appreciating (on a pretty shallow level) that everyone here seems to have an edge over the rest of the world...(OOHH! That's a strong statement!!) Just like good design. Abetalk is kinda like that night club that seems to have all the best looking, most successful people - but for no particular reason. It just seems like they flock there....

Personally when I come here, I log in with the intent to be uplifting, have fun, and display my awesomosity (new word) and I see everyone else being and doing the same thing. That's the way this LOA shit works...love it.

I think Abetalk is the culmination of all our members being selfish enough to make their first intent to feel good. This forum is like the perfect example of Abraham's quote:

I'm new to this, and after reading lots of the posts. seeing a SivaBaba video that 11:11 reccomended, and doing some different meditations, my life is starting to turn around the way I want it!

I'm relatively new here,

but the reason why I think this place is so special is because we all come here with the intention to feel good!

It's not that we don't face challenges in life, but we don't see these challenges as limitations, merely contrast - providing clarity on what we desire.

Deep down we know that it will only get better and better and that all we need is a vibrational pick me up. Knowing that we all create our own reality, and being constantly reminded of that by beautiful and insightful people, is extremely empowering and reminds us of our ultimate desire - to be happy.

If something is not going how we want it to, we know that that is simply because of something WE are vibrating not because we are a victim. Changing the situation for the better is not seen as impossible but a simple matter of feeling a little better.

So instead of coming here to wallow in misery, we know that emotions are simply indicators of what we are vibrating and that acknowledging where we are on the emotional scale is important and thus great, because soon we will be riding up the emotional scale towards joy!

...and the combined vibrations on Abetalk reaffirm this!

Ps. whenever I come on Abetalk, the sun eventually pops up in the sky (even if it was storming before).

So the events of today have made me truly grateful for this wonderful forum all over again. This place is so full of fantastic people. I loved that each of you has shared your unique perspective in the face of the wonderful contrast we have been feeling. I love that we are the kind of community that can rally around a cause & become closer for it. I love that we stand up for each other, that we are true to our own feelings, that we respect each other & appreciate each other for our differences as well as our commonalities.

Some of you have surprised me today. I have seen some real anger as well as some wonderful wisdom - and some angry wisdom!! My level of respect for you guys just got deeper. My enjoyment of all of your beautifully unique personalities got bigger. My feeling of friendship toward all of you just got stronger.
